I was over at the Titiwangsa Helipad at the Titiwangsa Lake Gardens for a chance to get aboard a helicopter. I think I did get on a helicopter before as a child but I barely remembered the experience and so it was definitely one thing I wanted to do and in my bucket list…

And well, now almost everyone can fly in a helicopter!!!

It sure was thrilling to get on my helicopter ride in a Robinson R66 Turbine. This helicopter carries 4 passengers and runs on a Rolls Royce RR300 Turbine at a cruise speed of 125kn(144mph,231km/h).

The other helicopter would be the Robinson R44 which is slightly smaller and can carry 3 passengers and is powered by the Lycoming IO-540 six cylinder engine at a cruise speed of 110 kn (130 mph,200 km/h).

The 3 helicopters present at the bank of the Titiwangsa lake, were certainly an amazing sight to behold and all ready to bring you on that helicopter ride you have only dreamt of all these while….  and yes, they provide rides to individuals, tourists, locals and even corporations.
