CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER AT PAVILION KUALA LUMPUR

I love Christmas. It is always a time for celebration, a time of joy and who can resist all those gorgeous Christmas decorations that makes one feel like a kid again… Not me, that’s for sure….I always love to check out the beautiful Christmas decorations in malls….

So, when I got the invite to check out Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s new Christmas decor, how can I resist…. So my mini me and I were both at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, today to see them launch ‘Christmas Ever After’ .

It sure was an exciting and joyous celebration to welcome this year’s Christmas festivities. The Christmas Ever After theme was inspired by fairy tale fantasies which turned Pavilion Entrance and Concourse floor into a magical kingdom of dazzling brilliance from now up until the 1^st of January 2017, showcasing the very first Pavilion Fairy Tale Castle- something that looks like Princess Elsa’s castle in Frozen and the world’s first Swarovski Crystallised Merry-Go-Round in the Centre Court of the mall, alongside the Spritzer Sparkling Tree at the Pavilion Crystal Fountain, the tallest outdoor Christmas Tree in Bukit Bintang.

It was a night where fairy tales come alive as we members of the media and invited guests were greeted by fun-loving fairy tale characters like Snow White, Robin Hood and Prince Charming.

Step into the mall from the Main Entrance, and make a beeline for the Spanish Steps and behold the ‘Theatre of Magical Dreams’ – decorated with giant theatre-style red curtains, where you will get the best vantage point of the Christmas Ever After grand decorations at the Centre Court. Witness the first-ever Pavilion Fairy Tale Castle twinkling under the night sky and the world’s first Swarovski-Crystallised Merry Go Round, which was still gift-wrapped for its launch later in the week. As part of a joint partnership with Swarovski, Pavilion KL will also be donating part of the proceeds from the Merry Go Round ride to charity, as part of the mall’s ongoing Charity at Heart CSR initiatives.

We were then escorted to the Main Entrance by a parade of Santa’s Magical Band, where we got to be the first to witness the lighting ceremony of the Spritzer Sparkling Tree by Dato’ Joyce Yap and Ms. Elaine Ho, Group Marketing Manager of Spritzer.

And believe me it was a magnificent view…. , at an impressive height of 70 feet, the Spritzer Sparkling Tree was illuminated with LED lights and glittering Christmas ornaments.

To end the fairy tale night, a spectacular Christmas flashmob performance thrilled the crowd with upbeat music that got everyone dancing with joy.

For the benefit of all Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Facebook fans, the amazing night was also recorded LIVE on Facebook and shared with thousand others. Earlier in the week, the mall also called upon 100 fans to join the launch as their favourite fairy tale characters with a RM30 dining voucher as a token of appreciation.
