Hello December… oh how time flies… it is already December.. Its the time children are at home, and corporate people and staff are clearing up their annual leaves, going on breaks and so on… and yes, it is also the perfect time to gather the family for a good meal or get together with friends to celebrate…
I know I have given you all a few good choices of where to dine, but here is yet another, it is also one of my favorites as I always look forward to what the TEMPTationS has to tempt me.. it is not called TEMPTationS for nothing… hahah
I was feeling like Gretel from ‘Hansel and Gretel’ facing the candy house when I saw the huge gingerbread structure at the front of TEMPTationS… the inner voice in me was going, ‘Go on, take a bite… you know you want to…..’ hahahah
Yours truly was over to check out the divine dishes that spanned from East to West…as well as local delights and of course, seasonal specialities that just have to include the perennial Whole Roasted Turkey with stuffing with the mouth watering accompanying trimmings…and special cranberry and giblet sauce….
Then there is the Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Cod in Mustard Sauce and more…..
For sweet endings, indulge your senses in lovely madeleines, berry cups, Chocolate and Vanila Yule Log , spiced cookies and so much more….you will surely be spoilt for choices like I was…
Santa Claus will be joining the festivities during the Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet and Christmas Day Long Lunch Buffet…
In case you are wondering , the Long Lunch Buffet is a feast of the senses with a melange of Asian and local dishes as well as piping hot dishes freshly prepared at various LIVE stations and open show kitchens.
Highlights would include the well loved Signature salmon in rock salt crust with dill cream sauce and Roasted sirloin of beef with black pepper sauce and mustard at the carving station…. there will also be a kid’s station where your mini-mes can indulge in Mini Pizza, Mini Burger, Spiral Potatoes, Gingerbread man, assorted Christmas cookies and chocolates…
Do also check out the non-halal Dynasty Restaurant , for my non Muslim friends where Executive Sous Chef Kok Chee Kin has put together two exquisite menus, 5-course Dynasty’s Deluxe Set and 6-course Imperial Treasure Set priced at RM198 nett and RM298 nett per person…these are available for lunch and dinner between 24th December 2016 and 1st January 2017… expect festive specials including Mini Buddha jump over the wall, Grilled cod fillet, Crispy Golden Ginger and Miso, Seared Tenderloin of Beef with Bacon and greens in black pepper sauce…..

That gingerbread structure is indeed a temptation. Would love my boys to experience that as well. Surely hotels within our country has the same temptation gimmicks for guests and I cant wait to check them out.
