New friends were made, fun games played, and nights were spent sleeping in a tent. Some 52 young campers from all over the nation had loads of fun and a unique experience with an opportunity to explore the outdoors, outsmart and conquer different challenges, improve their well-being and master personal skills.
The “Camping Under The Stars” is an annual three days two nights outdoor camping event that is opened to children aged 8-14 at Lost World Of Tambun just completed this year’s camp…
Throughout the event, the young campers went through a series of activities that challenged them physically and mentally.
Blind-folded and without a sound, campers were tasked to rely on their teammates to complete the Code Breaker with their instinct and reflexes.
Their stamina was also put to test through Walla Walla Weasel Wackers where they had to overcome six obstacles.
To strengthen the bond among the campers, they designed their own shield as a team!
“The school holidays is an ideal time for children to learn new things and explore great outdoors. Through this camp, our young campers had the opportunity to do so. We hope to cultivate them since young to take on new responsibilities, learn about nature, develop their social skills, and be more independent,” said Calvin Ho, Senior General Manager of Sunway Theme Parks.
He added, “We encourage parents to allow their children to participate in camps as it is beneficial for them to flourish their character outside of school. Having fun and educational elements throughout Lost World Of Tambun, we continue to strive in adding value to all of our guests’ visits.”
