MITA – Malaysia Inbound Tourism Association will be organizing their 2nd and most biggest MITA Travel Fair yet, for three consecutive days, on this coming 24th to 26th February 2017, from 10am to 9pm at the MINES International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

This is a result of the blue ocean strategy cooperation between the public as well as government agencies to promote Inbound Tourism and Domestic Travel to fellow Malaysians as well as ASEAN countries travel with the hashtags #GoDomestic #GoASEAN

MITA is targeting at least 90,000 visitors for this 3 day event…which will be unique as well, it is one of the Domestic Travel expos that will be promoting amazing local holiday packages at unbelievable prices. There will be about 500 industry players who will be showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of Malaysia and also ASEAN from within the country as well as some from participating ASEAN countries…

MITA Travel Fair 2017 / MTF2017 will be giving amazing opportunities to visitors to plan as well as purchase holiday packages with discounts up to 60%.

This edition of the MITA Travel Fair 2017 will also be introducing different travel segments such as diving, golf, extreme sports, equestrian and there will also be additional exhibition halls such as the Arts and Crafts hall- a place where visitors can watch handicraft demonstrations as well as purchase Malaysian made handicrafts; ASEAN hall – a place where you can find amazing holiday packages to ASEAN countries in conjunction with the Visit ASEAN year 2017; and the Malaysia Food Festival hall – a place for visitors to try out the choiciest delicacies and local favorite dishes from each different states of Malaysia… this would include Keropok Lekor from Terengganu, Mee Kolok from Sarawak, Nasi Dagang from Kelantan, and the list goes on……
Perak as the Domestic Destination of Choice will naturally be showcasing their products, packages as well as some choice destination holiday packages in conjunction with the Visit Perak year 2017

How to get there… Take the KTM Komuter and get off at the Serdang Station, and the exhibition hall just 5-10 minutes walking distance from the station. Or take a Grab Car or Uber – MITA is in talks for some discounts codes and there will be shuttles provided too – more details later, when I get it…
