fahrenheit88 is pretty much one of my favorite place to stop by… I have to admit, despite being over shadowed by the huge Pavilion, and also the ostentious and showy Starhill… but it does has it charms.. I for one find it an interesting place as I love to pop into Uniqlo there as well as the recently opened SHOOPEN for some pretty interesting and reasonably priced shoes from Korea.. and well… I just HAVE to stop at Book Excess to get some books for me and my girl… I like the Kitschen there as well as some of the many smaller shops there… where you can find some pretty interesting stuff…
I have however found a totally new reason to head there as well… it is the Makan Makan food court by Parkson over on level 3 of the mall… the level 3 has been transformed into a classy food paradise where you can satisfy your taste buds with some of the best cuisines around from 10 different stalls ranging from Chinese, Western, Japanese, Indonesian and so on… as a foodie, I am already in love with several dishes and will definitely be heading there for more…
However, I am also sharing about the launch of the ‘Feast of Happiness’ there at fahrenheit88 by the management team there…
Step into fahrenheit88 which you can now also access via an underground walkway from the new Pavilion Elite and head to the ground floor Atrium where it has been transformed to a unique and pretty rooster themed Chinese New Year Garden now until 12th February 2017…
We were duly impressed to walk in through the spectacular indoor garden with gorgeous blossoming peonies, blooming cherry blossoms and traditional lanterns along the pathways…
I also loved how they made cherry blossoms out of umbrellas and fans from chopsticks.. downright genius…
Just before the event, we had a mini tour around the garden and got to check out interesting handicrafts such as calligraphy, carvings etc.. as well as try the important sweets available.. which was simply yummy….
The event began with the award winning Kun Seng Keng lion dance troupe thrilling us with their edge of the seat stunts on the poles as well as funny antics before ending it with a somersault that made everyone catch their breath….and break into a cheer…
After the lion dance show, we were escorted back to the beautiful rooster themed garden with two gigantic quilted roosters and many smaller ones around…before fahrenheit88’s Directorof Marketing, Ms Kung Suan Ai addressed all present ….
Then, we got to watch another amazing performance by the award winning China National Acrobatic Troupe that was flown all the way from China to perform here…
There was also a special celebrity guest, Alvin Chong, best known as his role as Johan in the drama series, Suri Hati Mr Pilot…
…the prosperity lions then got busy and ‘spitted’ out lettuces all over members of the media and invited guests and VIPs , red confetti was also rained down at the atrium… bestowing abundance of good luck and signalling the start of a prosperous year of the Rooster…
The launch of the ‘Feast of Happiness’ ended with a feast, of course, what else… hahaha… we tossed the yee sang there at Makan Makan at Parkson…and had an amazing feast there…
Be sure to check out the Feast on Happiness Performances…

What a shame to say that I have not been to fahrenheit88 yet. I don’t even know where it is. But from the many brands that you mentioned, they are all my favourites. I’d definitely make my way there the next time I am in KL!
