Sanoook was inspired by a love affair with Thai and Japanese cuisine. Using secret, authentic Thai recipes from the prestigious Thai restaurant Chakri Palace, some chefs were brought together to add a twist of presentation and creative culture of Japanese food, hey presto, Sanoook was born…. And also the first to combine these two delectable cuisines into a yummy new menu… and yes, if you are wondering… Sanoook is Chakri Palace little ‘sister’ hahah…
The first Sanoook restaurant was opened at Sunway Pyramid…and they recently opened a second Sanoook restaurant at Pavilion Elite..
Sanoook ‘s concept is where cultures and tastes merge, creating a whole new culture of fun dining. ‘Sanook’ means ‘fun’ in Thai and they added another ‘O’ to represent a circle of friendship…Hence, Sanoook means having fun together with friends, thus it is always loads of fun dining in with friends at Sanoook…. Afterall it is Sanoook’s belief that a good meal can turn strangers into friends, strengthen friendships, and bring solace to a bad day.
So yours truly here was over at Sanoook to try out the mouthwatering dishes… this is not the first time I am dining at Sanoook, and I love the food… but this is the first time I am dining at the branch at Pavilion Elite since it recently open, just about a month or so ago mid December 2016….
The ambience in the restaurant was playful with wooden tables, grey and orange seats… I admired the diamond shaped pendant lights and pretty lights on the ceiling… as well as Sanoook’s cute mascot cartoons posters on the wall…
When it comes to food, there is just something for everyone…even for those who likes to eat healthy as Sanoook has some special Salad Jars for people to grab and go…, just priced between RM12.90 – RM14.90…
Be sure to try out their refreshing and oh so satisfying Thai Lychee tea like the one my blogger friend Eddy is enjoying…
…..or Thai Milk Tea RM9.90 each……
Then there are delicious appetizers… such as …Mieng Kam RM18.90
Soups…I love the Thai Coconut Soup with Chicken Wonton RM17.90 as it is something very different from the norm and yet just so fulfilling…..
They do have a selection of Vegetable Salad you can choose from too..…
Excite your taste buds with one of their Sushi Burgers … I love the Grilled Chicken with Green Curry Sauce which is one of their signature dishes you really have to try…
Skewers… I recommend trying the Chicken Skewers or Beef Skewers RM18.90 with some green curry sauce
Sushi…I love sushi….and we had all three variants of the sushi rolls Sanoook had…. The Sanoook Vegetarian Sushi Roll with Sesame Mayonnaise RM20.90, Grilled Tuna Sushi Roll with Spicy Tom Yam Sauce RM28.90
….and the Fresh Salmon Trout Sushi Roll with Spicy Miso Cream Sauce RM29.90
Or you can also choose from some Thai specialities or Japanese Delights… depending on whichever way your tastebuds is more leaning towards to on that day…..
For those of you who like something proper, like Rice and Noodles…. Try out the Phad Thai Noodles with Prawns RM21.90 or you can also indulge in some yummy Seafood Tom Yam Fried Rice RM22.90
And to end it , I always recommend something sweet and refreshing… of course… and who can resist some nice Mango Sticky Rice with Ice Cream RM16.90
If you are very thirsty and with your family, check out the Volcanoes…
there is the Thai Volcano with Thai Milk Tea, Fuji Volcano with Green Tea and Coco Volcano… with you know what…. Hahaha… and they are pretty yummy but huge… each for just RM17.90
I can guarantee you satisfaction overload with all that as I was practically a stuffed python once I finished all those food with my friends… they surely are so pleasing to the eyes as well as the tastebuds….
So head on over to Sanoook at Pavilion Elite to check out the menu now… if you are a fan of Japanese or Thai food like me, you will definitely love it…

Interesting twist of Japanese & Thai cuisine. The Salad Jars look very appetizing! Apart from the veg sushi, there isn’t much Veg options I guess!
