Perak Darul Ridzuan, the second largest state in Peninsular Malaysia, has a lot of charms to offer and is one of the states I love visiting… it is just so lush with natural tropical beauty, and has such a rich and interesting history, as well as vibrant culture and people.
From tranquil environments to adrenaline-pumping adventures, Perak and its capital city of Ipoh, offers a host of attractions just begging to be explored.
With “Visit Perak 2017”, the Lost World Of Tambun (LWOT), Malaysia’s premiere action and adventure family holiday destination, has introduced a brand new pass for visitors to the attraction – the ‘Lost World Explorer Pass’.
This pass will be launch as part of LWOT’s “Visit Perak Year Promotion” at Ipoh Parade, on the 25th and 26th of February 2017. Aside to the new launching of ‘Lost World Explorer Pass’, Perakian will also get to renew their ‘Lost World Hot Springs & Spa Annual Pass’.
Set amidst towering limestone cliffs, exotic plants and a dense tropical environment, LWOT is an action-packed, wholesome family adventure destination.
I can never get enough of this self-contained wonderland which has been lovingly cocooned by lush tropical jungle, natural hot springs, breathtaking limestone features of 400 million years of age, and seven amazing attraction parks – making it the ultimate day and night destination for a unique eco-adventure excursion for visitors of all ages.
“From amusement park rides to eco-adventure thrills, rejuvenating hot springs and a luxury spa, the Lost World Of Tambun offers a ‘lost paradise’ with a fun and wholesome experience for all ages, complete with a range of fun educational elements around the park. We are also the only theme park in Southeast Asia with natural hot springs coupled with an array of attractions and rides. This is the reason we are regarded as “more than just a theme park”!” said Calvin Ho, Senior General Manager of Sunway Theme Parks.
“We take pride in being able to restore the glory of a tin-mining wasteland to an iconic landmark that has today put the Lost World Of Tambun on Malaysia’s tourist map. This is one of the reasons we are launching the ‘Lost World Explorer pass’ in conjunction with Visit Perak 2017, so that more Malaysians and tourists will have the opportunity to experience the rich treasures of the Lost World Of Tambun and Perak,” added Calvin Ho, Senior General Manager of Sunway Theme Parks.
You can use the Lost World Explorer Pass for up to six (6) months from the activation date, is a day pass for visitors to experience free access to all the attractions of LWOT from 11.00am to 6.00pm on weekdays and from 10.00am to 6.00pm on weekends at only RM 130 for Malaysians and RM 150 for Non-Malaysians.
Meanwhile, during the promotional period, ‘Perakians’ will be entitled to sign-up for the Lost World Hot Springs & Spa Annual pass at only RM80 or renew their membership for RM70. The annual pass entitles members to full access to Lost World Hot Springs & Spa by night from 6pm to 11pm.
Ok… so, I am planning my next visit there soon…..
