Yours truly here is more of a seafood lover, to be honest, but there are times, I enjoy the taste of meat, meat can be pretty yummy if it is prepared nicely…and I had a great lunch recently at the newly opened L’Heritage Steak House at the classy Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur…

The L’Heritage Steak House is located on the 1st floor of the Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur in a posh french style restaurant and guest who choose to dine there will be spoiled for choice with the finest selection of meats, appetizers, soups and desserts.. and for non- Muslims, the wine choice there is just so sophisticated…

I was there for a sneak preview food review prepared by Executive Chef Sabri Soid  who specializes in fine dining and French dishes, and what I had was really so good I am so craving more….

For appetizer, had a mini platter of 3 of their selected appetizers, which were the  Caprese Roma of Tomato, served with Buffalo Mozzarella, Fresh Basil Drizzle with Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar;  Eggplant Calamari, served with Fresh Tomato, Basil, Garlic Confit and Red Chili Mango Salsa and Smoked Salmon Roulade, served with a nicely Grilled Scallop, Toasted Mesclum and Dill Creme Fraiche.. I spotted some extra pomegranate bits and pomelo bits on the plate as well.. presumably from the Eggplant Calamari…  each bite of these assorted appetizer only made me crave more…

Then soup was served, and what do you know… it was one of my favorite, French Onion Soup with a twist… The soup was served in a cup, with puff pastry on top… and it was just a perfect mixture… it was seriously so damn good….I found a great place at long last for a heavenly French Onion Soup and it is here at the L’Heritage, and naturally I am not the only one who thinks so since it is their signature dish on the menu as well…

Then we had our main course, in the form of some super tender Wagyu Beef tenderloin M4, and some lamb , served on a bed of truffle potatoes and butter poached vegetables… with their mouth watering house sauce…. just perfect in every way…Pure orgasmic delight… my taste buds are just in love…

Of course, the perfect ending to such a beautiful lunch came in the form of a platter of  a miniature apple pie, a small and rich chocolate cake and some sinfully good strawberry cheese cake prepared by pastry chef , Chef Firdaus…fit for royalty…

L’Heritage Steak House also offers chicken, lamb and pan fried fish, allowing diners ample choices for an unforgettable dining experience. Naturally, all main dishes are complemented by an innovative collection of side dishes, in addition to classic fries and mashed potatoes….

L’Heritage Steak House is open every day from 12 pm to 2.30pm for lunch, and from 6pm to 10.30pm for dinner… and is ready to accommodate you in anyway they can from private rooms, romantic candle light dinners and so on….
