Luxury costume jewellery brand Les Nereides Malaysia, launched their 2^nd outlet which is the latest addition to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and you will be amazed by the range of fine handcrafted and whimsical hand-painted, made from brass and coated with 14 or 18 karat gold jewellery….

Founded way back in 1980 by Enzo and Pascale Amaddeo, Les Nereides offers a unique and whimsical take on the costume jewelry world..

Inspired by nature and animals, each collection is just such a dream to behold with extreme attention to details and a beautiful sense of refinement…

Invited guests who were there for Les Nereides Anniversary and outlet opening were definitely mesmerized by the fine detail of the colourful necklaces, bracelets, bangles, rings, earrings and charms that came in the most quirky and adorable designs from the Pas De Deux signature collection, which is also known as Ballerina, a classic line inspired by the feminity and grace of ballet dancers of the opera de Paris… and which the launch theme was also based on…

We were just fascinated by the four ballerinas there and the ballerina bust cake which was there for the launch….

Personally, I was just fascinated by the adorable resin-made pieces of the various collections – Little Cats, Clarte Nocturne consisting of sweet owls, Jardin Imaginaire consisting of adorable bunnies, Rose d’Orient with beautiful flowers and the list just goes on….

I was also just so in love with the N2 collection inspired by such fairy tales as Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast , Little Mermaid, Unique Unicorn and so on…

I mean like how can you just not love those adorable earrings of a girl wearing white teacups skirts, or how about a very chic unicorn wearing a red dress carrying a handbag and a cup of coffee, or a necklace with a unicorn in a pink sweater… lol….

I am a sucker for adorable and cute things and I just love it…

Like I said, every piece of these jewelry were hand made and hand painted in the workshops of Les Nereides, which was named after the sea nymph daughters of Nereus, the Old Man of the Sea in the Greek mythology. It was a name chosen by Pascale’s father when they created the logo
