As Ramadan draws closer, people start looking of places to break fast with friends, colleagues or family… and well, with today’s post is yet another place for you to consider…. It is none other then TEMPTationS at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur of course, one of my personal favorites…


Starting from 27 May 2017, Chef Ali Tuwin and his team will be TEMPTing your senses with a feast of more than 100 dishes, which would also include Malaysian classics which is enjoyed most during the fasting season.

The menu served at TEMPTationS Ramadhan Buffet will include classic favorites such as Briyani Gam Ayam, Sup ‘GearBox’, Ayam Masak Daun Limau Purut, All-Time Favourite Whole Lamb with Percik Sauce, Serawa Durian with Glutinous Rice and the must-have Beef or Chicken Bubur Lambuk that will be available every evening throughout the fasting month.

Don’t forget to visit the LIVE action stations, where you will be half mesmerize with the chefs making the Kampung Style Ikan Bakar accompanied by its hot and spicy sauces, as well as juicy chicken and beef satay.

The Noodle Station offers a rotation of noodles every evening, either Mee Rebus, Laksa Penang, Sup Mee Hoon Utara or Nyonya Laksa. I find myself fascinated with how the Apam Balik is made, despite having seen it made hundreds of times before.…

Indulge your sweet tooth at the Dessert Section with a vast variety of Malay Kuih, cakes, puddings, tarts, jelly and ice cream.


You will be fascinated with their ‘Urban Tropical Oasis’ which is located outside the hotel /entrance to the function rooms where a fruit fiesta will be happening. Here, you can be spoilt with an all-you-can-eat tropical fruit fiesta and also indulge in some durian, the king of fruits subject to seasonal availability at their ‘urban tropical oasis.
