Recently I was over at the Traders Hotel for a mini staycation, and oh mai gerd… my Traders Club Room offered me the best view ever…. Never have I been so glued to my hotel window before…. this was really the room with a VIEW…..

Checking in was a breeze, and even though I can check it at the 32nd floor, I decided to check it on the 5th floor reception as there were not many people anyway that day…. the receptionists were efficient..
I was fortunate to be given the Traders Club Room that came with a king size bed, a lounger, a sofa, flat screen TV with Astro channels, and huge windows looking out over the Petronas Twin Towers and practically the whole KLCC park…
And my ensuite bathroom was just as spacious and amazing with a bath, a shower and ample amenities…. Including ample bath salts to soak your stress away should you like to soak in the bath and a nice fragrant bar of L’Occitane soap…
The Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur come with 571 well-appointed rooms and suites in the hotel. If you are booked into one of the Clubs Rooms or suites, you can actually check-in and out at the Traders Club Lounge on Level 32.
But that is not all which you can indulge or enjoy.. your Club Room will give you access to the Traders Club services & the Lounge… after all, isn’t it nice to some extra luxuries to treat yourself from time to time….

I popped into the Traders Club Lounge to do some work at one of the computer work stations and indulged myself with the afternoon tea as well as drinking in the equally magnificent sight of the Petronas Twin Towers…
I strongly recommend not missing out the magnificent sunset views, or actually any time views from either the Sky Bar/pool area, Traders Club Lounge or your room… that is if you are getting the amazing view I am enjoying……let me share the different views I enjoyed…
Back in my room later, getting into the King Sized bed was just amazing, and that was after I manage to tear myself away from the glorious view of the Petronas Twin Towers at night.… as the bed is very comfortable and I had a very good night rest to be certain…
Naturally, my room cames with complimentary mineral water, some fruits, a couple of cuppies and a little box of half a dozen pralines… there is also tea and coffee-making facilities as well as a well stocked mini bar. There is also a lollipop left at my bedside table as a treat for my sweet tooth….
The hotel is adjoining the KLCC convention centre, and close to the Suria KLCC mall, and you can walk there through the KLCC convention centre or the park… but if you are feeling lazy, the hotel actually provides complimentary buggy service to the mall. You can also easily access the Golden triangle area of Bukit Bintang (Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Starhill, Lot 10 area) using the connecting walkway from the KL Convention Centre…. I walked there to the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur…and it is great exercise….
I am not a drinker, and have kind of outgrown clubbing scenes, so I did not go to the Sky Bar in the night… However, I paid a visit to the Level 33 during the day and the Sky Bar was a lovely hang out spot by the pool boasting amazing views of the Petronas Twin Towers from its cabana booths.
The swimming pool is just after the Sky Bar… so if you have time to while away, I would really suggest getting one of the cabanas and spending a few hours relaxing there with a fruit juice, mocktail or cocktail as you admire the view….
There is also a fully equipped 24-hour gym, as well as a saunarium and steam bath on Level 34 by theSpa.

How àbout the price? Must be quite pricey kan. I am looking for a hotel around kl too, for a staycation with my girls, perhaps after raya.
