Hotel On The Park is the latest addition to Resorts World Genting. Previously, the Genting Theme Park Hotel, it has been refurbished and rebranded into a cheery, contemporary and fun hotel suitable for families and it will be the park Hotel most accessible to the upcoming Twentieth Century Fox World Malaysia and is located practically at the doorsteps of the Arena of Stars. I also have to say I like that it is just a very short walk away to the SkyAvenue mall, just across the road and about 3 minutes walk… and you will be spoilt for food and shopping choices…

The lobby of the Hotel on the Park is sure a fun place to be with a super giant pink wooden bench that makes you feel petite suddenly, a stack of giant cups that makes you feel like you entered Alice’s Wonderland and the 3D bench area which through the mirror look like hotel balconies… and you can pretend to do your dare devil stunts…

There are two main types of rooms that are available at Hotel On The Park Genting.

The Sixers: The Sixers rooms have three queen-sized beds (including a bunk bed) in a 300 sq ft space. These rooms are perfect for families or groups of friends who prefer to stay together in one room.

Facilities in the room include: Telephone/IDD Access, Tea & Coffee Making Facilities, Open Top Safe-Box, Standing Shower,TV, Mini Fridge, Mineral Water, Free Room Wi-Fi, Bedroom Slippers, Fan and ample amenities in the bathroom.

And,…. The Quads: The Quads rooms which have two queen-sized beds and can accommodate up to four people in a 200 sq ft space. The Quad room is more ideal for small families.

Then for those who are impaired/handicapped/special needs, there is also a special room called the King Special dedicated for them. The room is spacious and comes with an orthopaedic adjustable bed and a queen bed, as well as convenient and easy to maneuver toilets/bathrooms. There are currently just two units of King Special rooms, so you have to book the room early if you need it.

I was lucky to get The Sixers room, so my husband, my daughter and I each had our own bed, enabling us to have a perfect night rest since each of the bed are just so super comfy as well…

The room decoration is also quite playful and fun with a wardrobe mural with hangers on the wall for guests to hang their clothing, etc and even a sofa mural, and so on…

Our bathroom/toilet is also pretty fun with lots of wall hangers, and a separate toilet and bathroom but twin sinks..

I love that they have 2 USB port outlets located just beside the bed for convenient charging without the adapter.

If you are feeling peckish in the middle of the night or early in the morning, you can head over to the vending machines to get some snacks…

Otherwise, you can just head to Eatopia at the lobby that sells bread, snacks, soft drinks, nasi lemak, instant noodles and other eats and drinks can be enjoyed for a reasonable price, and psst.. I love the nasi lemak that comes with chicken curry.. just yummy…
