If you are the type of person who craves local Malaysian food when you are traveling, or worries a lot about whether the food you are eating when you are out of Malaysia is Halal or not, Santai Travel has the perfect answer to your woes…
I may not be such a person, as I am the adventurous kind who loves to try new things and as long as there is no pork or alcohol in my food, I am contented, but I do know of many Muslim friends who are really worried and pretty particular over where they eat, and even a couple of friends who can’t seem to live without Malay dishes.. so I strongly think this is a perfect solution to their woes when they venture to the great big world outside Malaysia..
Santai Travel recently launched the Santai Travel Food Pack Santai Travel’s very first agro-tourism food pack during the MATTA Fair at the Tourism Malaysia Booth in Kuala Lumpur. The launch was officiated by Y. Bhg. Dato’ Ammar A. Ghapar, Director of Domestic and Events, Tourism Malaysia.
The food pack is quite attractive looking and is a huge plastic take-away-pack featuring some signature dishes such as the Nasi Goreng Kampung (Kampung style fried rice), Serunding Daging, Kari Ayam (Chicken curry), Sambal Sotong (Malaysian dried cuttlefish sauce) and etc. It even has convenient small bottles of kicap masin and chilli sauce, something even I miss when traveling..
Santai Travel Food Pack was planned for local travelers from Malaysia to be able to enjoy their favorite Malaysian dishes while traveling out of Malaysia… so you do not have to really waste time and money having to go in search for halal food or Malaysian food and sometimes pay exorbitant prices for it overseas anymore.. and yes, not worry about eating the wrong food and getting food poisoning if you have a sensitive stomach..
The selection from the food pack are all halal traditional Malay cuisine homemade from our very own small and medium industries from Malaysian villages which has been carefully and hygienically vacuum- packed and ready to eat at anytime.
These food packs also serve to help promote our local agro-tourism. So there you have it, do grab one before you head off overseas, so you can save time, money and worry…
