BANGI WONDERLAND THEME PARK

OK, when I heard that we were going to the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park, I was both skeptical and excited… I mean, there are now many theme parks in Malaysia, and well, what else is new, besides, I am a fan of theme parks and have gone to several top ones….  but well, do give Bangi Wonderland Theme Park a try.. it may still surprise you as it did me…

Touted as a “FORTRESS OF WET AND FUN”, the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park is located on 12-acre land at the heart of Bangi Avenue, the hub of development in the Bangi/ Nilai/ Semenyih triangle in the Southern Klang Valley and is expected to attract more than 500,000 visitors a year, particularly from southern Klang Valley, Putrajaya and Negeri Sembilan.20171007_103131-1008x567

As for now, the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park is a water theme park with a very cute mascot , a pirate cat and his parrot, and features 15 attractions, namely Pirate Spa, Water Cannon, Surf Rider, Kid Adventure, Body Slide, Spiralax, The Fall, Anaconda Trail, Insane Racer, Wonderloop, Green Pearl, Pirates Bay, Boomeriang, Magic Funnel and lots more.

Do not expect it to be like the big boys of Universal Studios, Everland, Lotte World or Disneyland etc.. it is a much smaller and basic water theme park, but nevertheless full of fun especially for the kids, and those who are young at heart..

We started our adventure at the Kid’s Adventure pool where we waited for the gigantic water bucket to tip over and drenched us…and once we got wet, everything else came naturally… and my mini me and me split up to challenge the other participants of ETW 6.0, as well as the organisers from UPEN Selangor, Tourism Malaysia and Gaya Travel Magazine to the challenging slides…

Bangi Wonderlands has plenty of slides that promise unlimited fun.. and challenges you. Try out the the First Malaysia Water Cannon where you will be the missile to be set off… or bring your friends on the Magic Funnel ride..

Scream your heart out while coming down the Fall, or on the Insane Racer aka the Rainbow slides…

These are of course, only a handful which the few of us manage to check out given our limited time there during our Eat Travel Write 6.0 familiarisation trip but it kept us wanting more…

Companies planning a family day should really make use the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park’s amazing package deal which is just the entrance fees for a minimum of 30 pax, and from there on, let the capable staff organize the many fun-filled activities, tele-matches and water games and food at no additional cost and rest assured that everyone will have a whale of a time !

  1. Although I have heard of this water park before, I had no idea it is so large. Looking at your photos, I feel like jumping into the pool as it is so warm here today!
