It embodies what I look for when I am traveling.. a comfortable, clean, luxurious place to crash in for the night, somewhere safe, secure and convenient.. and with that being said, you will definitely love the location of The Bed KLCC which is smacked right in the heart of KL Golden Triangle -opposite the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, right by the side of the Concorde Kuala Lumpur and Hard Rock KL, and naturally… right in the centre of tourist’ attractions such as KLCC, KL Tower, and Bukit Bintang, all within a mere 10 minutes walk, and before you ask, yes, I have walked to all these places countless times before in the past..

With its tagline “Your Bed in the Heart of KL”, The Bed KLCC is all ready for all local and international tourists, whom are looking forward for a new travel accommodation designed to provide convenience, quality and genuine sense of community at an affordable price… and to be honest I am so glad we finally have such a hotel around. There are just so many of these hotels, which I stayed in when I was in Thailand, and other neighboring countries..

Checking in is easy, with just your MyKad or passport, and you will be given your room key card that you can access to your room and all, and a towel. Just head up to your room, and you will find lockers and shoe lockers outside the rooms. You can keep your luggage there and your shoes in the locker as there are in house slippers you can use while traipsing around the hotel. I believe the lockers are pretty safe but if you need more security, just lock it with a small lock…

I had the chance to stay in the twin pod, a small room within the room where there were two other single side entry pods, one on top of the other.. like a double decker bed, so my mini me took the top pod while I took the bottom one…

We definitely had a very comfortable night stay. The bed was comfortable, the pod beautiful, clean and nice…

My only complain would be that it was hard to adjust the air conditioning, but the staff are helpful enough to come and adjust it for you.. and well, the toilet/bathroom in the room did not come with a bidet. Other then that, it was a perfect stay… and so convenient… there is even a 7-Eleven shop right next door..

The Bed KLCC is well connected to an excellent transportation network such as free shuttle bus (GoKL), Light Rail Transit (LRT) and monorail, all available at a walking distance from the hotel.

Travellers nowadays are willing to pay more for a better lifestyle accommodation, with contemporary interior design, fast speed internet, and a space for making new friends to immerse themselves into the culture and environment of the city they’re travelling to, and with The Bed KLCC, you can get all that.

Although you are sharing the room with other travellers, you will still have your privacy in the pod, where privacy blinds can be pulled down for your own personal space.. And besides that if you are traveling with your partner/spouse or child, you can also get a Family Pod so you can rest together, unlike many other capsule hotels that do not have this option…

I love that pods are fully equipped with all the facilities a tech-based travellers are looking for, such as fast speed wireless connection, USB ports for charging, international charging points, LED lights, multipurpose foldable table, mirror, privacy blind, and private lockers..

The Bed KLCC can cater to a capacity of up to 170 guests and offers six types of pods from which you can choose from — 114 x Single Pods Side Entry/ Front Entry, 10 x King Pod/Family Pod, 5x Twin Pod, 2 x Single Pod Suite and 2 x Queen Pod Suite.

The size of each single pod is 40sqft whilst the size of the suite is 150sqft, larger than any standard pod offered by traditional capsule hotels. You choose your preferred type of pods, ranging from private pods in sharing room to private suite pods, and immerse themselves in a luxurious home away from home experience.

The Bed KLCC ensures the comfort and security of their guests by providing 24-hours security, 24-hours check in reception, and 24-hours in house cleaners.

The lounge area opens from 6am till 12am, where you can do your work at the business work stations, spend some time watching TV, and you can also browse through the extensive library there while curl up in front of the pretty realistic fireplace crackling merrily on comfy Doof bean bags.. or well, choose to make some new friends from all around the world.

I also love the public rest rooms for all those single pods, there is a changing area, shower area, ironing area, make up area, wash area… everything has been thoroughly thought through…
