It was one of our team members, Fahmi’s birthday,  so the lead members of the Influenzas team and I decided to throw him a small birthday party.. and we chose Banngkok Street Food, a simple but colourful and homey restaurant in Setapak serving up some of  the best Thai food you can ever find in Malaysia…

Banngkok Street Food has come a long way in just about 2 years… Located at Platinum Walk, at Danau Kota just next to Setapak Central/ Festival City…

Banngkok Street Food is now synonymous with great authentic Thai Street Food and is run by Chef Mus, his brother Wira and managed also by their sister Aada…

Chef Mus draws from his 16 years of experience, his Thai ancestors hand me down recipes as well as adding his own personal touch to all the dishes… During my most recent visit there with some of the Influenzas team, Chef Mus was away in Bangkok to diligently research new recipes as well as get his ingredients which are mostly brought in from Thailand to maintain the authencity of the Thai food with the exception of vegetables , meat and seafood…
