If you are to tell me there is nothing to do up at Resorts World Genting, you probably can be forgiven if you haven’t been there in a while… and if that is the case, it is high time you pay a visit there and bring your family or friends with you, because with the new opening of the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Adventureland, there is just sooooo many things you really have to check out and try out..

My friends and I drove up to Resorts World Genting over the weekend and after having lunch at the Coffee Terrace at Genting Grand Hotel, we headed to Sky Avenue…

This would be because Resorts World Genting’s Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Adventureland featuring Jurassic Research Center, Zombie Outbreak and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium recently opened its doors at Big Box, SkyAvenue Level 4….

Our trip started at the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium where you can check out the revamped cabinet of curiosities there is just so much to discover from strange and odd things, no brainer things people do as well as artifacts of lost worlds of tribes and tortures, deformities, the weird and the wonderful… there is definitely a little bit of everything for everyone…

Check out the horse faced woman or the vampire woman with implanted horns…

Imagine creating a dinosaur out of sunflower seeds…

 

 

Love painting? How about painting on a butterfly or even a cockroach…

Check out the million dollar buddha which is practically made out of a million shredded dollars… (wonder who is so rich to destroy money and stuff into a statue)…

Or what about a replica of King Kong made out of rubber tyres…

It is definitely super mind boggling and interesting.. and worth at very least a visit there….

Jurassic Research Centre is also a place you really want to visit… It is where you can mingle with these prehistoric beasts, pose with them…

 It is a wondrous adventure stepping back into the past and explore the wonders of Mesozoic era- yes…. all these gigantic reptiles are “alive” and moving and you definitely will be mesmerized of the seemingly real visual effects…

I was actually arguing and fighting with the bad pterodactyls who were trying to kidnap a baby braciosaurus (I think) so I was trying to rescue the poor little thing… while one of my friends got “bitten” when he put his hand too close to the dinosaur….

And well, say hi to my pet Stegosaurus, a herbivore with one of the smallest brains around back then…

…as well as my pet Saber Tooth Tiger…

From the wilderness you will find yourself in the Jurassic Research Centre where things has gone wrong (think Jurassic Park movies) and the lab and warehouse. is over run by the little but mean velociraptors…make a run for the capsule, and stay quiet and safe there while you watch these little beasts wreck havoc before being joined by the Tyrannosaurus Rex…

You can even check out and study the vast fossils and skeletal remains of the dinosaurs before leaving the research centre…

…but watch out for the ridiculous sight of the Tyrannosaurus Rex which will scare you at first before making you break put into giggles when you notice the size of his hands…

 

Zombie Outbreak is where you have to thread carefully and watch your back, since you’ve been warned that the town or district has been over runned by the undead…

The stench of rotting flesh in the air might catch your attention, but be careful those undead and ugly creatures do not catch you.

This is the best place to really test your friends or boyfriend /girlfriend.. and see if they stick by you and face the fear with you or at least pull you along when they run or if they bolt by themselves and leave you all alone there…

You can hide but the undead already have your scent and are seeking you out to eat you up… I was a scaredy cat naturally and clung on to my friend for dear life hardly past caring whether he minded it or not… hahaha

So do check put the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Adventureland.. They have a package where you can just go for just one of the attraction, 2 of the attractions or all 3…
