To be honest, I actually had mixed feelings initially when I was told we were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur, as well, it is located at Chow Kit area… which some locals consider a seedy area…

However, being part of the scenic and vibrant Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, makes staying here just so super convenient, a super plus point as we barely got time to even warm the seats of our tour bus before we had already arrive at our many destinations…

The Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur is close to attractions, from eco forest walks and night markets to art galleries, shopping, museums, KLCC and a mini zoo at the KL Tower…

…and well, if you love markets, like some of my friends actually do, there is the super colourful and vibrant Chow Kit market just a few steps away on your right when you exit the hotel

…or even the super early street market wholesale kinda place to your left…

Another plus point would be that the hotel is at a great location where you can hop on jus any bus and be on your way to Central Market area and LRT/MRT/KTM Komuter or just walk for a few minutes towards the right and you will arrive at the monorail which can bring you to Bukit Bintang, KL Sentral and other parts of the city.

Basically (to be honest), like everywhere else in the world or even in KL, it is safe to walk alone.. I did and as early as (6.30am).. but just be wary and careful not to carry or wear too many valuables to attract unwanted attention…

The Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur has stylish guest rooms decorated in warm and inviting tones which is both welcoming and comfortable.. and comes with modern amenities like complimentary WiFi, 40-inch TV, a mini-fridge and tea/coffee facilities.

My queen bed and pillows were new, comfortable and spacious… and there was a writing desk and chair.

I really loved that we actually got a little pampered with Crabtree Evelyn toiletries inside the bathroom..

The breakfast was reasonable, could be better but then again nothing to complain…

..and there is a well equipped gym for hotel guests as well as a self laundry…

The 24-hour Pavilion Pantry™ offers drinks, instant meals and travel essentials at the lobby… and last but not least… loving the speed of the WiFi.. hehehe

The views from my room is also pretty breathtaking…

Do however be forewarned that the walls can be a bit thin so… be sure to be respectful and keep your chatter, screaming, moaning, laughter down if possible as not to disturb other/neighboring hotel guests…hehehe
