The last hotel we stayed in when we were in Labuan was the Lazenda Hotel. Lazenda is a city hotel with about 172 rooms available and 38 suite rooms. The hotel is modern with some rustic Borneon touches and is just barely 5 minutes away from the Labuan Airport,  and less than 1/2 km from the Labuan Ferry Terminal, Labuan Town Square and mall…

My friends and I were pretty relieved when we got to the hotel because it was smack in the middle of shop lots and also there were self-laundry there to wash and dry our dirty clothing.

The rooms in the Lazenda Hotel are pretty spacious and comes with complimentary WiFi, mini bar, coffee/ tea making facilities and bathroom toiletries/amenities..

The bed was more importantly comfortable and cosy which is always important since we need a good night rest after a whole day of activity…

The bathroom was also clean, spacious and came with basic amenities you need…

They do have a gym there but alas… no swimming pool- which marked the beginning of our withdrawal from water activities…which was slightly disappointing as we were already kind of getting used to swimming and getting wet every day in Labuan…

Lazenda Hotel has 5 function rooms as well as a Grand Rooftop Banquet Area for weddings, conferences or just about any event you have in mind…

There are also two dining outlets at Lazenda Hotel, which is the Pestle restaurant on the 1st floor of the hotel that serves the hotel buffet breakfast, as well as Western and local cuisine and Chinese cuisine…

..and there is also the Mortar cafe and lounge, a pretty cool place to hang out for some local snacks and signature dishes as well as to listen to the live band play…

Overall, despite bemoaning the fact that we did not get to swim anymore, it was a great stay there at Lazenda Hotel and it comes highly recommended for those who are there for business or just there n Labuan for a simple trip… as it is smacked in the middle of the Labuan town and within walking distance to a lot of places…
