So my birthday came and went.. and well, this year I am pretty fortunate to celebrate my birthday at the New World Petaling Jaya Hotel, which is conveniently within the Paradigm integrated complex just where Paradigm Mall is… and for a lady, what else can be more perfect then having a mall just right next door where you can just hop over whenever you are in need of just anything from food, groceries, snacks, outfits or pampering..
I was definitely overjoyed being given the opportunity to check out this new hotel which was just opened early this year…
Just stepping foot out of the elevator would make you go wow… at the amazing view of the lounge, sitting area and lobby… that came with big glass windows and plenty of natural sunlight… The place is pretty picturesque…
Checking in was a breeze.. The hotel lobby is located on level and the front office staff professional yet friendly..

My room was pretty spacious and luxurious.. I had the Deluxe room, with a super cosy King sized bed..

..and the bathroom came with cool marble flooring… and lovely organic toiletries and amenities.. you have to love the Eco Boutique toiletries which were very fragrant and gentle on your skin…
The desk I had was small and round but I was comfortable working on my laptop with it…
Open the curtains and you will be mesmerized by the amazing panoramic city vista before you, through the huge glass windows….
The room comes with complimentary high-speed WiFi which are great to work with….
Since it was my birthday two of my best friends came over to visit and spend some time with me.. which was a relief as spending my birthday alone can be pretty dull otherwise..
We headed to the infinity rooftop pool on the 30th floor which I have to say is one of the best pools around with magnificent views second to none….
You can see most of Petaling Jaya unobstructedly from the swimming pool deck and you will wonder how you manage to miss this view before this.
Once we had our dip in the pool as it was a bit too cold to stay too long in.. we got out and headed to PJ’s Bar & Grill for dinner… If you think the day view was amazing, you have to also catch the night view of Petaling Jaya .. and here at PJ’s Bar & Grill, you can do just that..
The hotel has a lovely and pretty well equipped gym as well for those who make fitness a priority as I am learning to…
…and it is on the 29th floor along with the Residence Club lounge for those staying on Residence Floors…
Breakfast is served at 6.30am at Pasar Baru, the all-day dining restaurant located on Level 2 at the New World Petaling Jaya Hotel… Pasar Baru serves pretty impressive breakfast, lunch and dinner in food market style buffet as well as ala carte…
Just for your info, the New World Petaling Jaya Hotel shares the same carpark with the Paradigm Shopping Mall with ample of parking…
The hotel is pretty close to the Kelana Jaya LRT Station, which is also your gateway to get in and out of the city or else you can take a half an hour car, Grab or taxi ride to town as well…
Overall, it certainly was a memorable stay in a gorgeous hotel with amazing views… and highly recommended… I swear this has to be one of the best hotels I have been to with a view to die for…
