When I heard we were going to stay at the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, I was pretty excited…
Having stayed in quite a number of hotels, very little can actually surprise me.. It had been a long day and I was pretty much knackered and want nothing more then to take a quick shower and snuggle in bed and sleep my weariness off…
Upon arrival, we were given cold towels and a refreshing glass of fruit punch… and then I was given my key card.. When I was told my room was on the 10th floor, I was slightly disappointed… but well.. too tired to bother and I needed to use the bathroom fast…
I headed up the lift, touched my key card to the door, opened the door to the hibiscus motif on the floor, walked inside and my jaw just practically dropped…
In the space of a few minutes.. my needing to go to the toilet and my weariness was momentarily forgotten and I was walking around my room marvelling at everything in sight…there were two humongous king sized beds in the room… and the room was just soooo spacious..
I walked to the balcony and opened the door and shrieked in amazement… there on the balcony… was my own private dipping pool and a steam room and deck chairs…
..and the water villas view from my room was just magnificent…
My room came with a toilet… and his and her sinks … and a separate bathroom… The luxuriously spacious marble bathroom came with a lovely bathtub and his and her own couple showers…
There are bathrobes, in-room safe, iron and board, hair dryer, weighing scale and foam japanese slippers (which are soooo super comfy I choose to wear them over my own fitflops) and the toiletries come in bright and colourful packaging…
I felt like I died and went to heaven hahaha…
The Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is located along Pasir Panjang beach that faces out to the Straits of Malacca…
The hotel is just less then couple of hours drive from Kuala Lumpur and is said to be the largest water homes development in the world… something you can believe since the water villas there at the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson actually stretches out to more than a kilometer from the beach to the furthest view and is built in the shape of our national flower, none other then the Hibiscus….
You can also find the tallest water fountain in Malaysia here… a 400-feet water fountain… but that is not all since the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is a Guinness World Records holder for achieving “The most swimming pools in a resort” and “The most overwater villas in single resort”….
The Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson consists of 639 pool villas comprising 117 tower rooms and 522 picturesque water villas… each of them unique, spacious and breathtaking with their own steam room and dipping pool….
For bigger families or more luxurious space.. choose the executive or presidential suites located at the stigma part of the hibiscus..
If I have any grouses regarding my stay it would be I barely had the time to enjoy the hotel as well as the loads of activities they had there… I really hope to be able to be back there with some of my besties and indulge ourselves with all Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson have to offer… soon…
