As always am finding it hard to resist the 46th edition of MATTA Fair (Malaysia’s Largest Consumer Travel Fair), held at PWTC.. Having the wanderlust feeling always makes me curious to go find out what exciting deals or new places I can explore….

And here at the MATTA Fair, you can find just about anything from favourite destinations to adventurous tours that challenge you….

How not to when there are more than 250 tourism related companies all at once with 1336 booths spreading over 7 halls at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC)

Just FYI, for the last MATTA Fair in March 2018, a recorded 110,000 visitors came and spent about RM210 million..

Visitors can expect to be treated to a host of performances and activities throughout the three-days fair…

I for one am just so super fascinated with the local cultural dances from states such as Sarawak as well as cultural performances from countries such as Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan and Sri Lanka…

Sarawak is again Malaysia’s Favourite Destination for the 2nd time this MATTA Fair.. Sarawak after all have a very wide range of tourism products and is a value for money holiday destination for domestic travel and holidays…

Sarawak after all is a fascinating land with over 27 sub- ethnic groups with their own distinct language and arts, one of the most unique experience is the friendly people and naturally the local cuisine…

Personally Sarawak is one of my bucket list and I really would love to be able to visit Gunung Mulu, Bako, Niah and Lambir Hills… I was in Kuching once before (many years ago) and have visited the lovely Sarawak Culture Village…

For the young and young at heart, do not miss out on the new premium integrated destination, Desaru Coast as well as Legoland of course, whichbare Malaysia’s favourite theme parks..

Taiwan is Asia’s Favourite Destination for this fair, so you can expect exciting activities at the Taiwan Pavilion such as a do-it-yourself pearl milk tea (activity) held by Chatime, a well-known Taiwanese brand, and performances by the Zero Four Dance Crew ..

Visitors who purchase flight tickets, attraction tickets or tour and travel packages will also be in line to win prizes in the MATTA Buyers’ Contest….

A total of 138 prizes to local destinations and 32 prizes to international destinations will be up for grabs…

For every admission ticket, RM1 will be donated to Tabung Harapan Malaysia

He said Grab Malaysia is also offering RM5 off for two rides to or fro PWTC during the fair via GRABPAY, using the promo code MATTAKL18 for the first 1,000 rides daily.
