Night of Frights 6, Sunway Lagoon Malaysia

For the duration of one month every year, Sunway Lagoon turns into a scary place… however you will find plenty of thrill seekers who cannot resist venturing in to the darkest recesses of Sunway Lagoon Nights of Fright 6 (NOF6) despite it being Scarier Than Ever!

NOF has already become Malaysia’s biggest, scariest festival… and so for this year… from 28th September till 31 October 2018, Sunway Lagoon brings together eight haunted houses, four scare zones and a plethora of activities to provide a fully immersive experience that is all trick, no treat…. my group of friends and I were all there during the launch and we were so excited to explore all NOF6 had to offer…

Our first stop was at PHOBIA: COULROPHOBIA – THE FEAR OF CLOWNS … many people are oddly scared of clowns….

In this house.. They are in your head. You are in their house. In this disturbing situation, we are confronted with our irrational fears…

Many say that clowns are supposed to make you laugh…. We did laugh… but it was all nervous laughing.. it was even creepier when someone in our group was called out by name to knock on the door and advance in first…. It definitely was super creepy, and there was no turning back… since there was only one way out…

Next we were forced to face our fears by looking into the GHOST FACE – THE FACE TO MAKE YOU SCREAM IN UV3D…

Inside there, we were just surrounded by thousand of ghost faces… some just a reminder of things to come.. some that jump out and start chasing you… it is really your worst nightmare comes to life again and again in this house of fear….

Then we took a step inside WENDIGO – THE LEGEND IN THE MIST, to discover the place of myths and monsters. We had to hold on to a lenght of rope as so not to get lost…

It is said that the Wendigo appears as an evil cannibal-like spirit that devours mankind… Wendigo are said to have an insatiable hunger for human flesh – no matter how much they eat, they remain hungry. They are hungry. For you…

From there… we headed unwittingly into the SLAUGHTERHOUSE 13..

It is a slaughterhouse run by Chan… but the meat-packing plant has been long closed down and abandoned after a worker, Lee Lee Choong discovered a not so beefy body hanging on the hooks inside the freezer of Slaughterhouse 13…

Could it be the long banished son, Calvin Chan who had mysteriously disappeared months earlier after a falling out with his father?

Terrified, Lee Lee Choong never recovered from the shock and now guards the long abandoned freezer with her own life.

When we barely escaped with our lives and headed to the SCARYTALES THEATER for some hair-raising horror stories told by none other then Lynton Harris himself.. He told us about the story of Emily of the Lagoon…while we sat surrounded by spooky houses…. Be careful though.. as you will be joined by the very characters in the stories…

We dis not have much time to do all the houses and places.. but there was also the ZOMBIE ZOO.. where something had gotten into the animals and keepers at their underground zoo set deep inside the mountain…

The animals and keepers are eager to terrorize the guests as they set foot upon this horrifying zoo…

The GHOSTBUSTERS have some new ghosts to bust as New York is lit with the jack-o-lanterns.
