So recently, yours truly along with her daughter and some of her best friends were over at the 5-star urban resort in Subang Jaya… the Dorsett Grand Subang, for a little weekend staycation…

We checked in and got ourselves a Club Room on the 16th floor as well as an Executive Suite on the 12th floor…both the room and the suite which were just so well-appointed with breath taking panaromic views of Subang Jaya and Sunway city centre…

The Executive Suite was comfortable enough for 4 people.. with a spacious bedroom and an ensuite bathroom that came with a bathtub, there was also a walk in cabinet, a separate study room, and a large sitting area , kitchenette and a toilet (and the blackout curtains in the room certainly worked well as when I headed to my besties room to wake them up the next morning at 8.30am, it was super pitch black in the Suite…)

You can request for an additional bed if you like at some additional fee…. which we did since there were four people in the Suite..

My daughter and I took up residence at the Club Room which was smaller but super cosy as well… and our room came with an ensuite bathroom with a nice rain shower and blinds for the glass window separating the shower and our room….

Our bed was definitely plush and cosy ensuring us a good night’s rest..

My daughter was of course excited to be on a staycation with my besties as well and we just had so much fun having late night chats and gossips in the suite before heading back to our room to sleep..

We certainly had a fabulous time at the Dorsett Grand Subang since it came with plenty of lovely facilities that would make any discerning guests just feel comfortable… including a gorgeous outdoor swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre operated by Clark Hatch, a wellness spa and a fully-equipped business centre…

We loved the pool which was beautiful and picturesque and took many pictures there…

Feeling hungry or peckish any time of the day while residing at the Dorsett Grand Subang is not a problem since they have plenty of yummy dishes from their F&B outlets from the Piano Lounge, Cafe Aroma, the Emperor Chinese Restaurant, the Terazza Brasserie and also the Premier Lounge (of which I will share in another blogpost soon)… not forgetting the local shoplots across the road if you want to dine out…

Places of interests around in the area would include Sunway Lagoon, the Shah Alam Stadium and major shopping malls such as the Empire Shopping Mall, Subang Parade and Sunway Pyramid….
