Muar, fondly known as “Bandar Maharani,” is well-known for its historical buildings, food, and coffee…It is a charming little town in Johor and somehow, I do love it here and it is not far from Melaka…and besides, one of my best friends originate from Muar…

During our recent Travelogue Melaka /Muar food trail… we headed to Muar and of course, we had the golden opportunity to stay at the beautiful Muar Indah Villa…

This beautiful 2 story Villa originated as a family home which eventually was renovsted and turned into a Villa..

The uniqueness of this place is that you can choose to rent just a room or 2… or the entire villa…

If you rent the entire villa.. the entire villa is about 4650+/- square feet and comes with 7 rooms and can accomodate about 20 or more guests…

The villa comes with a beautiful and spacious lounge or sitting area, a dining area for 8 pax, a lovely kitchen, wet kitchen, and even a dipping pool in the porch area of the villa…

Family Room 1 or the multifunction room on the ground floor of the villa facing the dipping pool… the cosy room has 2 queen size double mattresses and 2 single mattresses… there is also a TV in the room which is linked to a play station….

Room 2 is actually an Extra Room and also the Karaoke Room… It can however be converted to a bedroom for one or two people as it has a sofa bed and also a toilet attached inside…

Room 3 is a Premier Deluxe Room that comes with a Queen size double bed with window sliding door…..

Room 4 is the Villa Master Room, and therefore the most beautiful room of all… it comes with a sitting area and TV, a King Size four poster bed and has a little mezzanine floor where you can find a queen size mattress there…

You will so fall in love with the open air Bali style/garden bathroom… This room can easily fit 4-8 people

Room 5 is a Villa Family Room with 2 Queen Size beds … it also had a balcony and a generous sized bathroom….

Room 6 is a Family room with 3 double beds and a spacious bathroom….

Room 7 is a Premier Deluxe Room with a Queen Size Bed and also has a big bathroom & extra bed….

The upper floor also have a little sitting lounge area for little chit chats and discussion…

The villa is definitely super luxurious and comfortable and there won’t be a dull moment here… it has free WiFi, a lovely dipping pool, a nice lounge..

…and even a place to play mah jong… play station and well… karaoke to sing your heart out…

It is also a great place for a small company corporate function or event or a wedding, anniversary or birthday celebration as the owner can provide some catering as well…

It was also here that Travelogue Malaysia finally had their soft launch…

The Muar Indah Villa is located just about 10min to Muar town and 5mins to the nearest 7 eleven… and it is also safe because there are CCTV all over to ensure the occupants safety..
