Ramadhan 2019 – Citarasa Warisan At PWTC

Ramadhan al Mubarak is just right around the corner, the holy month which all Muslims await. And with that the Riverside Restaurant at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) is taking the opportunity to offer its diners more than 250 different types of dishes for breaking fast this coming Ramadhan….

The buffet promotion which begins from 8th May 2019 until 3rd June 2019 will begin at 6pm right up until 10pm…

Guests can enjoy all these delicious offerings for just RM88 per adult whereas it is just RM45 per child (aged between 7 to 12 years old) and for senior citizens aged 60 and above, thr price is RM75 per person…

The management team of PWTC is also offering private or corporate breaking of fast/ buka puasa for RM98 per person for a minimum of 100 pax and above. This package includes a buffet spread, a special hall for breaking fast, audio system, special prayer /solat area as well as fixed parking rates worth RM5 beginning from 6pm…

Guests can perform their Maghrib, Isyak and Terawih prayers with the Imam at Surau Ar- Rahman on the level 3 of PWTC. Telekung and prayer mats will be specially prepared for guests usage..

The team of PWTC chefs headed by Executive Chef, Suzaini Mohamed Salih will prepare their special menu cooked the traditional kampung style which will change every week…

Among the tantalizing menu which are being offered this year will be the Ayam Kampung Kerisik dan Betik Muda, Ayam Gulai Minang dan Daun Salam, Kambing Masak Kari Utara, Ikan Pari Asam Pedas Sayur Jeruk, Ikan Patin Tempoyak dengan Timun Tua, Ayam Brastagi, Ikan Tenggiri Masak Kari Hijau dengan Terung Telunjuk, Siput Sedut Masak Lemak Kuning, Pegaga dan Daun Kaduk and Paru Kari Kawah…

There will be about 13 jenis ulam ulaman, 6 different types of crackers, 8 different jeruk, 7 types of salted fish, 14 types of sambal and dressing, 13 different kinds of kerabu and hot dishes such as spiced fried lamb (kambing goreng berempah), fried crab with salted egg and oats and a whole lot more…

The buffet counter will also be offering an assortment of sweets and desserts comprising of 8 different Malay kuih, 5 different cakes, 4 different pies, an assortment of jellies, mousse and puddings, 3 different sweet porridge, assortment of Malay biscuits/cookies and so on…

There will also be a stall for hot and cold beverages serving up sugar cane, air mata kucing, syrup, barley water, air batu campur, 3 different ice cream, pulled tea (teh tarik) and pulled coffee (kopi tarik)..

The highlight of each Ramadhan buffet would be the Carving Station which will prepare the roast lamb/mutton daily, served with black pepper sauce and mushroom sauce guaranteed to whet your appetite..

Personally, I enjoyed the spread a lot and I think it is is really very nice and worth it… there is nowhere else you will get a generous spread like this so delicious and affordable…
