During our last visit to the Sunway Lost World of Tambun, my besties and I opted to stay and wake up at the cosy, comfortable and beautiful Lost World Hotel..

The hotel is located at the foot of the ancient limestone hill and within walking distance to Lost World Of Tambun Theme Park… Yup, the hotel is just right across the road from the theme park.. So since it was still early when we arrived, we headed to the theme park and let our inner child out..

Sunway Lost World of Tambun is no stranger to me as I always come back here several times a year and even some of the staff are already my good friends.. And to be honest, I love it here so close to nature and also the activities, facilities and yes.. the food!!! It is just soooooo irresistible…

The first thing we did was to go see my animal friends at the petting zoo, catopia, savannah, hippo kingdom and all.. I never get tired seeing and taking the opportunity to feed the animals and such (where allowed)

Then we headed to Kukuntalu food court where we all ordered the Nasi Ayam Goreng Rempah and Cendol which was just soooo delicious…

This was followed by a trip to the Haunted Chambers… Call me crazy, call me psycho- maybe I am..  The Haunted Chambers here is probably one of the scariest I have been to due to the narrow spaces, local traditional ghosts you most likely bump into (and you will inside the Haunted Chambers), the smell of kemenyan and all (oh my gawd, even talking about it is giving me goosebumps) etc but it is still thrilling and we cannot help screaming but also laughing our heads off at our silliness… So yes, you really should check it out.. Its only Rm10 per person!!!

After visiting the Haunted Chambers, we decided to check into the hotel…

Checking in was a breeze with the professional but friendly front office members and we were given our key access cards to our rooms…

We got the 22.76 sqm Exotic room that
overlooked the Sunway residential area… The rooms comes with a choice of a king sized bed or 2 single beds… And since I was sharing with my buddie, I got the 2 single beds room…

The room came with a window sofa seat aka day bed, attached bathroom, in-room safe, air-conditioning, coffee / tea making facilities and you even get sachets of Ipoh famous white coffee and milk tea…

There is also a flat screen TV and of course the most important thing many people nowadays cannot live without, including yours truly… FREE WiFi…

If you are staying at the Lost World Hotel, you will also would receive two complimentary tickets to Lost World Hot Springs and Spa by Night, two complimentary buffet breakfast vouchers at the Garden Terrace and some discount vouchers you might want to utilise…

So once we checked in, we went to the park to enjoy the rides before we decided to take a short rest…

We headed back to the theme park for dinner at my favorite place – Ipoh Street where we tucked into the great tasting food there with gusto….

The fire percussion was as usual a breathtaking and mesmerizing stellar performance headed by Sunway Lost World’s entertainment manager who doubled up as the human fire breathing and fire eating dragon…

… and of course… the hot springs… How can we resist soaking our aches and pain away in these therapeutic sulphuric water.. No doubt the slightly boiled egg stench permeats the air but the feeling when we submerge our feet or entire body into the different temperature ponds is simply indescribable and somewhat just so satisfying..  And naturally we had the most good night sleep after everything in our cosy beds at the Sunway Lost World Hotel…

Our morning the next day began with a quick wash up and a short trip to the Garden Terrace which is located near the theme park entrance…

Garden Terrace serves buffet breakfast for those who live at the Sunway Lost World Hotel or the Sunway Lost World of Tambun glamoing site and starts from 7.30am to 10.30am daily after which you can just head straight to the theme park (if you still wanna play or if you decide to head into the park after checking in at the hotel for perhaps 2 nights)

Overall, it is always just satisfying and am always truly happy to visit the Sunway Lost World of Tambun with my friends…

Psst… Sunway Lost World of Tambun Theme Park is currently undergoing renovations and upgrading works and I for one cannot wait to see the new section for additional water park and slides the later part of this year… So stay tuned!!!
