The Nong Nooch Garden & Resort consist of 4 different types of accommodation to suit non-fussy individuals…
There is the Nong Nooch Resort,
the Lakeside Villa, the Garden Villa
and also the Rimnam Villa…
The Nong Nooch Resort is located nearest to the reception.
OK.. When it comes to reception, the Nong Nooch Garden & Resort’s reception is pretty basic and uninteresting….its just a place to check in and check out after all..
If you choose to stay at the Nong Nooch Resort, then you will be staying in some simple modern-style residence with 1 bedroom and 3 beds and your en suite bathroom… The room will come with a nice private balcony, and you will be overseeing a lovely pool area…
The Lakeside Villa is on the other hand ideal for couples or single travelers.. It offers simple modern-style residence, with a lovely view of the lake and the arapaima enclosure there from the verandah of your room, all rooms consists of 1 bed room, 1 bath room, with its own verandah…
The Garden Villa is slightly different and catered to families or friends… The Garden Villa offers Resort-style residence surrounded by garden for about 4 people.
Each Garden Villa comes with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room; and you can choose from deluxe, superior and standard Villas.
The Rimnam Villa is a Waterside residence, suitable for a bigger group of people….
My friends and I were fortunate to stay at the Lakeside Villa, just opposite the Garden Villa and not too far from the Nong Nooch Resort, so we could access the swimming pool if we so wanted…
My room was located on the 2nd floor which was OK but kind of a bit tiring to climb when you are bringing a big luggage, which I did, since there are only stairs available…
The Lakeside Villas consists of a few blocks of accommodation… 2 rooms x 2 floors for each block…
On the other hand I loved my simple room.. It was clean, nice and had curtains that can open all the way to enjoy the serene view of the lake.. My bathroom was also spacious…
I loved the fact they had a balcony and chairs there for me to relax and enjoy the scenery, especially sunrise (sunrise is however very early at 5.30am or so)…
When staying there, I would recommend an early night since there is nothing much to see or do at Nong Nooch Garden & Resort after 6pm unless you take a Grab or Uber out to Pattaya or nearby… (for me, I was a happy little girl getting to go to just 7 Eleven which is already like a mini supermarket!!! ) , but be sure to take advantage of the Sky walk (overhead walkways) and go exploring early in the morning…
My room came with air conditioning, a refrigerator, TV, a desk, and free WiFi.. .
The rooms come with free breakfast at the Plubplueng Restaurant…
My thoughts: I stayed at the resort for 4 days and 3 nights but with all the activities I had at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, Nong Nooch Cultural Centre and Nong Nooch Dinosaur Valley, I certainly enjoyed my stay and my sleep there…. Only downside was having to lug my luggage up all the way and down again upon checking out.. Other then that I have no complaints..
