So yours truly found herself in the first-ever Marvel Studios Ten Years of Heroes exhibition in Malaysia… One thing for sure it wowed me.. Upon entry, I was guided as to how to get my Avengers Identity Card done… (You have your picture taken and key in your name.. The card can be collected upon exiting the exhibition)
The Marvel Studios Ten Years of Heroes exhibition boasts original artifacts — costumes, props and concept art (all from the movies) — enabling you to peek into the iconic characters’ valiant journeys and encounter striking scenescapes like never before…
I was definitely blown away at the multi-sensory experiences and intricate set recreations I found myself at such as Tony Stark’s lab, the Asgardian Bifrost, and even Wakanda or the Black Panther’s lair…
It was truly an amazing opportunity for normal everyday people like you and me to relive the most extraordinary adventures of the Earth’s — and the galaxy’s — mightiest heroes. The rest is of course to your own imagination….
It was an amazing experience getting close up to the original props such as armours and weapons from MCU including Iron Man suit, Thor’s Mjolnir, and Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet, those beautiful and detailed costumes and concept art on the movies, all of which have been featured in one of the 20 films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe..
The first gallery took us back to Marvel Studios’ ‘Iron Man’ (2008) where we were given the chance to enter Tony Stark’s lab in Stark Industries and admire or even pose at the Hall of Armor, showcasing the evolution of Iron Man suits – specifically Mark II, Mark V and Mark VI…
Don’t forget to check out the Arc Reactor from Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Endgame’ (2019).
The second gallery was all about Captain America’s shields and the origins of one of the most iconic vehicles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – the ultra-modern S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier…
Do watch out for the Captain America USO Shield and Stealth Shield from Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: The First Avenger” (2011) and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” (2014) respectively, which were flown in specially for this exhibition!!!
Enter Asgard through the Bifrost and take a picture of/with Thor, the God of Thunder himself…
The next gallery is Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum Sanctorum where you have the opportunity to experience the Mystic Art of Time Manipulation – turning a perfect looking apple to a half-eaten one, down to its core….
Dance and groove with Baby Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy through special digital features, in homage to the opening scene from Marvel Studios’ ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ (2017)
The Black Panther lair or cave definitely fascinated me in the sixth gallery and you can take a peek into Shuri’s laboratory and check out her brilliant inventions..
Don’t miss the uniquely crafted Black Panther Costume worn by Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) in Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” (2018).
The next gallery made you feel like you have shrank… as you take a journey into the Quantum Realm!
Here, you could take a picture of/with Ant-Man….
Keep a look out for the miniature replicas of Ant-Man and The Wasp in this gallery as well!
This gallery also features the original Pym Tech Rolling Lab from Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and The Wasp” (2018).
In the eighth gallery, you will be transported into space with the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and one of the universe’s most powerful Super Heroes – Captain Marvel.
I kinda like the costumes worn by Brie Larson (Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel) herself, which includes her original iconic brown leather Civilian Costume (simple but stylish!!!) and her Starforce costume….
The next gallery is all on the six Infinity Stones and their significance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe… Visitors will get to experience “The Decimation” for themselves and witness the consequences of the massive fallout in Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ (2018).
The replica of the Nano Gauntlet as seen in Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Endgame” (2019) is nothing but impressive… As is Thanos…
Last and not least is the Collector’s Museum that was first seen in Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” (2013). It features the galaxy’s largest collection of exotic relics and species of all manner, including a Frost Giant and a sample of the terrestrial material known as Aether….
Of course.. Once you have done your rounds at the 10 galleries, there is the gift shop where you can pick up your Marvel characters souvenirs…
And of course your Avengers Identification Card to ascertain you as part of the Avengers team (use your imagination…)
