KL Tower International Jump Malaysia 2019

BASE jumping involves parachuting from a fixed structure…. The word BASE itself is an acronym for the four types of fixed objects where a jumper can set off from — building, antenna, span and earth….

KL Tower has been organising the KL Tower International Jump Malaysia (KLTIJM) for 18 successful years and has attracted jumpers from all around the world… This event has become one of the most significant and signature event for KL Tower, and also Malaysia..

There are only two towers in the world that organise these international Base jumping events, which is of course, KL Tower in Malaysia and Tallinn TV Tower in Estonia…

KLTIJM is the last of a series of BASE jump events in Malaysia this year. The other locations for the events were the Alor Star Tower (jumping from 105 meters height) , Gua Damai Xpark in Batu Caves (jumping from 100 meters height) and Wisma Sanyan in Sibu (jumping from 125 meters height) and of course, KL Tower (jumping from 300 meters height)

With the jump, KL Tower also offered visitors and tourists the opportunity and chance to sit on the edge of the sky deck while watching these brave and daring jumpers perform stunts while gleefully jumping off the tower…

You can experience this extreme activity at just RM118 (MyKad holders) or RM148 (normal visitors)… This includes a complimentary sitting on the edge experience as well as a complimentary photo for keepsake souvenir..

There are also other activities and offers offered at KL Tower with support from their partners such as My Balloon Adventure that will showcase hot air balloon flying throughout the 4 days, special tickets promotion by Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), special rate stays at OASIA Suite Kuala Lumpur, special offers from Starbucks and I-Mizu drinks…

This event has put Malaysia on the map as a destination for extreme sports tourism and will help promote the ‘Visit Truly Asia Malaysia 2020’ campaign to both local and international tourists…
