Golden Valley is one of Kuala Lumpur’s top pork free Chinese restaurant locating at Melawati Mall on Level 3….

I was there recently with 3 of my close friends and we were pretty impressed with what we saw…

The restaurant was pretty classy and  spacious with rectangle as well as round tables and Chinese potteries decorations…

The generous a la carte menu features an assortment of Chinese Seafood dishes, all prepared with Halal ingredients…

To start, we had some Seafood Szechuan Soup which was just perfect in the consistency and taste..

The condiments came in a tray was also tempting all on its own with 3 different chilli sauces, which was the sambal ikan kering, sambal nasi ayam and sambal belacan…

We also had to order some of their signature dishes which were their crabs, which are specially air-flown in from Indonesia (RM16/100g)prepared with their signature chilli sauce….

This crabs taste really superb with the accompanying deep fried mantao… With sweet and fleshy meatin their claws…

We also ordered the Stir Fried Australian Beef with Cambodian Kampot Pepper on hotplate (RM28/ 100g). You will love the tender slices of Aussie beef in slightly spicy peppery sauce…

I loved Steamed fish, so I wanted the Seabass which was Steamed in superior soy sauce (RM9 / 100g) and it was just perfect…

My best friend wanted the Fresh Water Prawn prepared with the Chef’s Special Sauce (RM25/100gm) and it was lovely and so well presented…

We also ordered the Salted Egg Yolk Squid (RM24/ small portion) – crispy on the outside and soft but chewy to taste… Simply lovely…. And a must have for those who love salted egg yolk…

What is a feast without your greens… We had some Mushrooms and Broccoli (RM20/small portion) and they were just juicy and perfect…

I ordered the Longan & Sea Coconut (RM6) that was served in a small bowl as a perfect ending to my feast…

Overall, my friends and I enjoyed each other’s company while indulging in this beautiful dinner together which made our get together just so much sweeter.
