Welcome to the latest dining experience by 2spicy…  Which is none other then the Lounge In The Sky….

I was truly blessed and also excited to be invited for yet another of TwoSpicy Entertainment’s unique dining experiences, events and attractions in Asia…

Like its older sister, the ‘Dinner in the Sky’ experience, guests are required to sign the waiver form upon arrival before being ushered to the waiting area at the Elements KL…

Unlike the Dinner in the Sky, where guests sit around the middle platform, Lounge In The Sky’s distinctive features revolve around the interesting  design of its platform, which allows private dining for groups up to four pax, a large hosting capacity of up to 32 pax per session, and an add on stage feature, which will allow live performances, presentations and events to take place, just like one would in an event space…

When the platform is ready to be boarded,  you will be advice to leave your belongings in the locker provided, and use the toilet before heading to your seats on the platform to be seated…

Lounge In The Sky observes its safety measures to an utmost level… So all seated guests will be safely buckled in with the special safety belts by the safety crew and double checked, while the standing presenter and crew are secured by safety harnesses all the time during the flight.

The safety supervisor will brief patrons about all the safety regulations prior to the flight and will be in constant communication with crane operator and ground crew for a smooth flight. The experience has been certified by TÜV SÜD, the German organization that validates the safety of products of all kinds to protect humans and the environment against hazards.

Once the safety briefing was done, a glass of Cinnamon Orange mocktail by award winning bartender Osmund Bernard was served…

We were also served an exclusive canape platter consisting of Prawn ceviche, (with  chili, ginger flower cream, sherry reduction), Wild mushroom fricassee (with shallot rings, deep fried bread box) and a Lemon Rose Meringue Tart (Lemon Curd, Rose Jelly, and Meringue) made by Chef Steve Ariffin while we enjoyed the rainy evening…  Yup.. It was raining, but no worries..

We were pretty dry as we enjoyed the view of KL city,  the majestic Tun Razak Exchange, the traffic jam of Jalan TUN Razak… But on a clear day, I am told you can watch the sun set into the horizon of Kuala Lumpur City….

What makes things more interesting is the Lounge In The Sky came with a lovely local singer and songwriter Poova Plachciak who entertained us through our 45 minute ‘flight’…

The Lounge In The Sky creates special moments and experiences by taking you into nature, up in the sky, like never before. This unique and must try experience will have you 150 feet into the air, with an amazing bird’s eye view of Kuala Lumpur while enjoying great food and drinks for 45 minutes.

This not-to-be missed experience is priced at only RM199 per person for the Economy Class, RM 299 per person for Business Class and Rm 499 per person for First Class package.

It is indeed a great experience whether rain or shine and terribly exhilarating and fun… Definitely loved the view of KL City and Jalan Tun Razak from my vantage point above it all…

• Four (4) sessions every Sunday, Tuesday to Thursday (6:00pm | 7:15pm | 8:30pm | 9:45pm)
• Six (6) sessions every Friday & Saturday (6:00pm | 7:15pm | 8:30pm | 9:45pm |11:00pm | 12:15am)
