Seriously I did not expect the food to be that good… So here are the list of eateries you really ought to try when you are around the area or looking for a new place to try….

The Quad Restaurant is a whole day restaurant that serves local and international dishes, which include a mix of western, Asian and local food.

We had breakfast here and it is really good.. The omelette was great with the chef putting in more effort then usual and the nasi lemak was also great…

Le Quadri Hotel’s Sky Lounge gives guests the opportunity to enjoy the vantage points of the Cheras skyline…. The Sky Lounge is the go-to-place to indulge in one’s favourite libations.

Unwind and relax in style in an environment that puts you where you should be – on top.

They serve pretty good breakfast sets as well as some amazing dinner if you want to impress someone or so…

I love their BBQ Combo as well as the NZ Lamb Chop which was super delicious…

If you like something lighter, maybe you might want to try the Seafood Combo or just one of Pizzas – the Sky Pizza or Margarita Pizza…

You can also try the Homemade Beef Burger or the Thai Chicken Wrap…

Open and convivial, Aromas is the go-to-place for your daily fix of coffee and pastries.

Readily accessible throughout the day, Aromas also offers self-service lunch and dinner spreads…

Also the place we set up our laptops and work since we can indulge in our coffee and tea here too…

The Hatton Restaurant is a Western restaurant which is pretty bright and welcoming by day, and which turns quite intimate and elegant by night.

Offering only the freshest ingredients, Hatton offers a wide variety of prime beef and fresh seafood..

Opened for lunch and dinner, Hatton provides a relaxed dining experience to guests who favour refinement and elegance… You order ribs, pastas and even burgers.

We tried their shell out promo there which comes in 2 flavours, and for me, the hot and spicy flavoured one was truly superb.. The Shell Out promotion costs just about RM30 per person….

Opening Hours – 11.00am – 2.00pm, and 6.00pm-10.00pm…

Hua Yi Yuan Chinese Restaurant is ideal for those looking for Muslim friendly / Halal Cantonese cuisine….

Hua Yi Yuan offers foodies a taste of the orient all beautifully prepared with fine and fresh ingredients and served in authentic surroundings…

Anyway we were there to indulge our tastebuds and tummy with Hua Yi Yuan great value sets which are offered at a affordable price for both private and family luncheon or dinner.

We ordered the premium set that consisted of 4 dishes + 1 soup and fragrant rice for 5 to 6 pax at the price of RM238.

The soup was the Seaweed egg drop soup with seafood tofu….

Then you get the Deep Fried Seabass fillet which was deep fried until crispy and drizzled with aromatic premium soy sauce. You can choose to have it just steamed too, if you prefer…

Then there is the Wok Fried Sea Prawn with Salted Egg Yolk…

And some Braised Asari Clam in Superior Stock which was truly tasty….

Then you get the Chef’s Choice of Vegetables made with broccoli & cauliflower stir fried with assorted mushrooms with oyster sauce.

The HYY Organic Healthy Chicken is a signature dish for those who love chicken for just RM 140 for some really soft and tender braised whole organic chicken with superior soy sauce with thick superior soy sauce served at the side for dipping…

Alternatively, you can opt for the chicken to be steamed… and served with minced ginger sauce and superior soy sauce served at the side.
