CNY 2023 – Galah Gala Seafood Restaurant

So some of my close blogger friends and I were over at Galah Gala Seafood Restaurant in TTDI to try their CNY special menu…

And it is definitely an interesting and awesome experience ushering in the Lunar Year of the Rabbit in cosy and comfortable ambience indulging in a golden abundance of fresh seafood!!!

Personally it is one of my choice of place to go to as the people who bring you Galah Gala has more than 29 years of experience serving the best seafood to their customers…. Galah Gala is just one of their new concept restaurants that heralds a new era to allow you to indulge in a gala of ocean treasures with Chinese cooking methods, minus the use of any porcine or alcohol elements.

Each set comes with Sang Har Noodles, Live Fish, Traditional Almond Chicken with Udang Galah Paste & Fish Paste, Stir Fried Asparagus with Japanese Scallops & Abalone Slices in Black Truffle Paste, Mango Pomelo Sago and Premium Tea served in the Pot

• Chinese New Year Menu RM1,288 (6pax) (Starter Duo: Honey Squid & Salted Pumpkin, Fish: Live Brown Marble Grouper, Broth: Premium Seafood) + Handmade Pineapple Tart with Salted Egg

•Chinese New Year Menu RM1,388 (10pax) (Fish: Live Seabass, Handmade Golden Beancurd with Seafood)

•Chinese New Year Menu RM1,988 (10pax) {Fish: Live Soon Hock, Broth: Premium Seafood) + Handmade Pineapple Tart with Salted Egg

We had the Chinese New Year Menu RM1,288 for 6 of us and it came with delicious Honey Squid & Salted Pumpkin….

We also had delicious seafood broth that whetted our appetite

Our fish was a Live Brown Marble Grouper steamed to perfection in premium soya sauce…

Loved their Sang Har Noodles that came with huge udang galah which was the highlight of the entire dinner

The traditional Almond Chicken with Udang Galah Paste & Fish Paste was really fragrant and unique in an amazingly delicious way

I definitely loved their Stir Fried Asparagus with Japanese Scallops & Abalone Slices in Black Truffle Paste which was just crunchy and so flavourful….

The mango pomelo sago dessert was really creamy and the sweetest way to end a lip smacking good feast!!!!

The Handmade Pineapple Tart with Salted Egg was also pretty unique with a combination of pineapple jam and salted egg and you can taste both…

And of course, what is a celebration without yee sang… you can add on a tray of Yee Sang which is ideal for 6-8pax for just RM128
