Ready to plan your next getaway? MATTA Fair 2026 is bringing the world a whole lot closer. ✈️🌏
The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) is teaming up once again with Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), which returns as the Official Airline Partner and Premier Sponsor of the 59th National MATTA Fair.
Happening from 4–6 September 2026 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, this year’s fair promises plenty of reasons to start planning that next holiday — from special airfares and travel packages to immersive experiences and exciting prizes.
✈️ Step Into the MAG Arena
One of the biggest attractions will be the MAG Arena, taking over more than 46,000 sq ft at the International Hall, Level 3, with 60 booths showcasing MAG’s aviation, travel, lifestyle and technology offerings.
Visitors can explore the latest from Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and Amal, alongside travel and lifestyle platforms including Enrich, Journify and MHholidays.
Expect interactive displays, digital innovations, next-generation cabin products and a showcase of the signature Malaysian Hospitality that MAG is known for.
🌏 Where Will Your Next Flight Take You?
If you’re already dreaming about your next escape, there will be exclusive promotions and special fares across Malaysia Airlines and Firefly’s domestic and international networks.
Popular destinations on offer include Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Bali and Hanoi, while long-haul travellers can look forward to destinations such as London, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo and Auckland.
Whether you’re planning a quick regional getaway or finally ticking a long-haul destination off your bucket list, there could be something worth checking out.
🎁 Book, Spend & You Could Win
MATTA Fair isn’t just about finding a good travel deal.
With every flight booking, visitors can enjoy exclusive merchandise redemption, while shoppers spending a minimum of RM100 can enter the Buyers’ Contest for a chance to win return Business Class tickets on Malaysia Airlines to destinations including Paris and Tokyo.
And there’s more.
This year’s MAG Arena will also feature exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with Manchester United legends, alongside appearances by celebrated local and international sports personalities.
🏨 More Than Just Flights
MAG is also bringing its wider travel ecosystem to the fair.
Visitors can explore Flight + Hotel packages through MHholidays, lifestyle and travel offers via Journify, as well as savings on extras such as seat selection and prepaid baggage.
For Enrich members, the Enrich Priority Sale runs from 1–2 September 2026, giving members early access to promotional fares.
🎉 MATTA Fair Has Even More Going On
Across the entire fair, visitors can browse 2,054 booths from 306 participating organisations, making this one seriously big playground for travel lovers.
There will also be plenty of activities to keep things interesting, including:
🎥 Ride & Reels Contest – Share your journey to MATTA Fair via the free shuttle service for a chance to win tech prizes.
🎡 Spin & Win – Spend at Hall 5, Level 2 (International Hall) and stand a chance to win exclusive travel merchandise.
🎤 Live Stage Performances – Surprise appearances by local artists will add to the festive atmosphere throughout the three-day event.
🇲🇾 Travel More, Discover More
According to MATTA President Nigel Wong, the partnership with MAG reflects the idea that travel is about more than simply getting from one destination to another — it is about discovering new places, meeting new people and creating experiences.
With Visit Malaysia 2026 putting Malaysia in the global spotlight, MATTA Fair also provides an opportunity for Malaysians and international visitors to discover more of what Malaysia and the world have to offer.
And with MAG’s expanded presence, the message is simple: more destinations, more choices and more reasons to start planning that next adventure.
