Spreading Christmas Cheer with the Angel Tree Initiative
Beyond the food, decorations and celebrations, one of the loveliest traditions at EQ is its annual Angel Tree Initiative.
Dating back to its Hotel Equatorial days, this meaningful initiative invites hotel guests and visitors to pick a wish card from the Christmas tree in the lobby. Each card carries a Christmas wish from a child at Shelter Home.
You can help make someone’s Christmas a little more special by purchasing a gift or making a donation. The gifts will be collected by the hotel team and personally delivered to the children during a dedicated Christmas party.
It’s a beautiful reminder that Christmas is not just about receiving… it’s also about giving and sharing happiness with those who need it.
Adding a touch of luxury to the festive season, EQ welcomes Hublot, in partnership with The Hour Glass, as its festive brand partner. An exclusive Hublot Christmas Showcase will be displayed in the hotel lobby from 17 November 2026 until 3 January 2027.
Look out for Santa Claus too! He will be making special appearances on 24 and 25 December, while Christmas carollers will be spreading festive cheer at selected dining venues.

Nipah: Christmas Classics and Festive Buffet Feasts
If you’re someone who loves a traditional Christmas spread, Nipah is where you can look forward to a selection of festive favourites throughout December.
Regular festive buffet lunches are available from 1 to 31 December, excluding Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Bottega: The Adorable Teddy Bear Tea Returns!
Now, this is one festive experience that will surely melt the hearts of teddy bear lovers!
Bottega welcomes back its popular Teddy Bear Tea from 1 December 2026 until 3 January 2027.
Priced at RM228+ for two persons, the experience includes tea or coffee, a delightful dessert trolley and, best of all, a customised teddy bear to take home!
And there’s more for the little ones. Weekend activities for children aged 6–12 include colouring, teddy bear stuffing and gingerbread decorating at RM58+ per child.
