I personally love traveling and cruising is one of the best ways you can enjoy waking up to new scenery, and perhaps even a different country, every day, because cruising makes it easy to see multiple breathtaking destinations in one seamless vacation!!!

I was just telling my friend if I had the money, I would so love to be able to retire in a cruise and waking up to a new city or country everyday!!!

So I was definitely grateful for the opportunity to indulge in the unique elegance and enticing atmosphere of the goddess of the sea.
Boarding the ship was a little bit of a hassle as I think there were some hiccups and miscommunication at the port when it came to immigration and boarding…. (Hopefully it will be rectified in trips to come)

Costa Serena is the ship of the gods, made fascinating by the original elegance of its environments inspired by mythology and ancient Rome… and yes.. the ship had murals of half naked god and goddesses and nymphs on quite a lot of places…. Sexayyyy

Costa Serena is a ship inspired by fun, well-being and relaxation: bars and restaurants, spacious, panoramic decks, jacuzzis or whirlpools and swimming pools in the sun as well as those covered by a sliding glass roof…

A Costa Cruise brings the Italian lifestyle to you. It is La Dolce Vita, the Sweet Life or the Good Life.

There are plenty of activities to keep everyone busy as well as destination excursions… Enjoy a breathtaking evening show in the theater, dance the night away at the disco, listen to jazz, relax in the cigar bar or piano bar….

I don’t know about you, but I love the ocean! There is something about the swells and ebbs of waves that is just sooo calming.

Sunrises and sunsets out at sea are just amazing sights one should not miss out on!
Each of Costa Serena’s panoramic decks is dedicated to the most famous constellations..
On this trip, we had the chance to explore Penang and Phuket… Taking a cruise is a cost-effective way to visit multiple cities without having to deal with the logistics of flights.

When it is time to rest our balcony cabin was just an oasis of comfort, filled with many amenities including satellite television, air-conditioning and cosy beds… what can beat the thrill of waking up, pulling back the curtain and discovering a different view every day…

This is the rare experience of a balcony cabin – a large window will allow you to admire the sea from the comfort of your bed or well, just relax at your balcony and watch the ships and islands go by…

Dining is can a delight to some but a little disappointing for odd travelers (as there were limited local offerings to suit their tastebuds) with numerous simple Westernized options from buffet line spreads at The Buffet Restaurant as well as Ceres restaurant…
The ship serves Halal food which probably is good news to Muslims….

We also checked out the Ala carte dining at Casanova Italian Restaurant; Luna Bar and well, I think Gelateria Amarillo serves up creamy homemade ice cream or some delicious chocolate praline and even serves some of the best and probably only Musang King Gelato on board a cruise ship!!!! (Probably the most Malaysian food you can find on board!! And also worth it)
Not all dining options are available in your cruise fare as some need a little adding on but, at Costa Serena, it is so worth it!!!!

A Royal Hightea at Luna Bar cost only USD12 for 2 pax!!!!

A fancy fine dining meal at Casanova Italian Restaurant cost only USD39 for a 4 – 5 course dinner which I think was pretty much a better deal then if you were to go dine at Burger & Lobsters..
