8 places to indulge in great tasting Southern Thailand food!!!!

The food from Thailand’s southern region, comes packing in the herbs, heat and spices. As the south of Thailand is where majority of the country’s coconut groves are, thick rich curries are a staple here along with fragrant jasmine rice or the healthy and fibre-rich Phattalung Sai Yod rice and plenty of fresh vegetables.

Dishes here are marked by a natural abundance of herbs, local provisions of coconut cream and the ever present rich spice blends of turmeric, galangal, garlic, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves and it is truly delicious!!!! And I would think healthy!!!! Here are 8 restaurants or places to eat that I truly enjoyed during my recent trip to Phattalung and So gkhl

*Grilled River Prawns

*Deep fried common silver barb fish with fish sauce/ garlic and fresh turmeric
