INCUBASE Studio, an entertainment experience organiser based in Hong Kong, has brought the Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary Exhibition to Malaysia for the first time ever!!!!

The exhibition which is held in collaboration with Toei Co., Ltd. and Medialink Group (2230.HK), is taking place at INCUBASE Arena Malaysia from January 10, 2025, to March 16, 2025, marking the venue’s inaugural exhibition. This arena happens to be the first international branch of INCUBASE Arena, which launched in Hong Kong in 2024.

Kamen Rider, which first premiered on television in 1971, has captivated audiences with its compelling stories and relatable heroes who, despite their human vulnerabilities, valiantly battle through sadness and loneliness. 

Masked Rider Black, known in Malaysia and Indonesia as Kesatria Baja Hitam, is often regarded as a classic series and was among the most popular Kamen Rider series in the late 80s, particularly within the Showa era. Masked Rider Black RX serves as the direct sequel to this iconic series.

The Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary Exhibition, the largest in the franchise’s history, first opened in Nagoya in March 2022 and has since toured cities across Japan including Fukuoka, Tokyo and Kagoshima, before making its international debut at Hong Kong’s INCUBASE Arena in September 2024. 

The exhibition features over 30 Kamen Riders from the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, including Masked Rider 1, V3, BLACK RX, Agito, Ryuki, Den-O, Kamen Rider W, and the latest ZERO-ONE, SABER, GEATS, and GOTCHARD. 

Just the lineup alone is enough to thrill fans!

The exhibition will recreate the Japanese showcase, featuring life-size 1:1 figures, replica manga pages, numerous reproductions of television props, actor costumes, and a Malaysia-exclusive exhibition area for fans to fully immerse themselves in the role of a hero. In addition to visiting the exhibition, fans can purchase official Japanese exhibition merchandise and special-edition items exclusive to the Malaysia stop.

This exhibition will highlight the stories of various Riders from different perspectives, emphasising the historical context they represent as well as their unique charm. With the official exhibition slogan, “Who is the Kamen Rider you grew up with?” , it is sure to evoke cherished memories for all fans who have followed Kamen Rider on TV and in cinemas.

1. Celebrate the Legacy of Heroes

The exhibition showcases life-sized Rider statues, original costumes, TV props, manga reproductions, and multimedia displays, tracing the evolution of Kamen Rider from its 1971 debut to the latest series.

2. Interactive Experiences

Fans can participate in a stamp rally across the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, unlocking unique rewards upon completion. Themed photo zones featuring Riders and iconic backdrops provide perfect photo opportunities.

3. Exclusive Merchandise

Collectors will delight in an extensive selection of official merchandise, including Malaysia-exclusive items and limited-edition collectibles imported directly from Japan.

4. Malaysia Book of Records

On January 12, 2025, the exhibition will host a record-breaking event certified by the Malaysia Book of Records: The Largest Kamen Rider Fan Belt Gathering. This historic moment invites fans to unite and celebrate their shared passion.

Visitors will have the chance to meet Kamen Riders in full costume during special meet-and-greet sessions, creating memories to last a lifetime.
