I still can’t get over the goosebumps from an unforgettable evening at Resorts World Genting’s Endless 60th Diamond Jubilee Celebration! 

On 16 August 2025, the legendary Richard Marx lit up the iconic Arena of Stars with his timeless voice and incredible stage presence and I was lucky enough to be there. 

If you grew up with classics like “Right Here Waiting,” “Endless Summer Nights,” and “Now and Forever,” you’ll understand the wave of nostalgia that hit the crowd. For the uninitiated, Richard Marx isn’t just any artist , he’s a Grammy-winning, multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and producer who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide across a dazzling 35-year career.

From heartfelt ballads to electrifying anthems, the night was a journey through decades of music history. He performed an amazing setlist (yes, including “Hazard,” “Hold On To The Nights,” and of course, “Right Here Waiting”) that had the whole arena singing, swaying, and reliving precious memories.

But this concert was more than just a performance. It was part of Resorts World Genting’s 60th anniversary celebrations , a sparkling tribute not only to Richard Marx’s enduring legacy, but also to six decades of unforgettable moments shared within those walls.

My favorite moment? When the entire crowd sang along to “Right Here Waiting” … it sure felt like time stood still. Pure magic. 

With ticket tiers ranging from RM368 to RM1,188, this one-night-only show proved that music truly is timeless.
