This Merdeka, come get swept up in the festive spirit at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, where the mall has gone all out with its Together. We Celebrate campaign. One of the highlights is Tinta Merdeka, an immersive art-meets-fashion installation brought to life by UCSI University students, with the support of Truley Bateq, Chery, and KB Colour Image. I loved how the showcase reimagines our Malaysian heritage with such bold and modern creativity, truly a feast for the eyes!

Here’s what you can expect if you drop by the Centre Court between 27 August – 1 September 2025:
✨ 16 giant batik-inspired fashion artworks, each representing Malaysia’s 13 states and 3 Federal Territories.
✨ 16 unity standees with fresh interpretations of local motifs.
✨ A one-of-a-kind Batik ArtWrap Chery Car (yes, a whole car dressed in batik!).
✨ Hands-on batik workshops & demos where you can unleash your inner artist.
✨ Zero-waste art booths & interactive cultural games for both kids and adults.

And of course, no Merdeka celebration is complete without a little retail therapy. Pavilion Bukit Jalil is also rewarding shoppers with exclusive handcrafted batik gifts when you shop…. from notebooks and stylish canvas bags to premium zip pouches (trust me, they make perfect keepsakes!).

If you’re into fitness, you’ll also love how the campaign keeps the energy going with collaborations with Anytime Fitness, Li-Ning, Anta, and LAC, offering fun, active sessions to get everyone moving.

Walking through the mall, I couldn’t help but feel proud of how Pavilion Bukit Jalil has created a space where culture, creativity, and community come alive. Whether you’re here for the art, the shopping, or just to soak in the patriotic vibes, there’s something for everyone.
