Meet Chef Andy Choy… The Man Behind the Magic!
If you think this is just another buffet, think again! Chef Andy Choy is no stranger to the culinary scene. The Malaysian chef-restaurateur brings nearly two decades of international fine-dining experience to the table, having honed his skills in some seriously impressive kitchens.
His culinary journey includes working with the legendary three-Michelin-starred Guy Savoy in Paris, as well as Gordon Ramsay in London and Dubai. Talk about an impressive culinary passport!
Chef Andy is also the champion of the 2017 Chef Par Excellence Competition and a finalist at the 2018 Concours Gastronomie in Paris.
Beyond the kitchen, he is the creative force behind several dining concepts, including N.I.C.E. Bistronome, THB Bistronome, Doux Doux Pâtisserie, CKT Traiteur, Mellow, Sept17 and Mala Bistronome.
With a chef of his calibre at the helm, you can expect plenty of thoughtful flavours, creative combinations and dishes that make you want to go back for seconds… and possibly thirds. No judgement here!
Bonjour, French Riviera! Let’s Eat!

The highlight of The Ritzy Weekend Feast is its celebration of the eclectic flavours of the French Riviera, where French culinary traditions meet Mediterranean influences and Italian-inspired indulgence.
Chef Andy brings his inspirations from this beautiful coastal region to life through rotating weekly menus and live cooking stations. Think homemade pasta, comforting French classics and Italian favourites, all coming together in one delicious spread.
And with menus that change from week to week, there’s always something new to tempt your taste buds.
Small Bites, Big Flavours
Let’s start with the appetisers, shall we?
Expect tempting selections such as duck rillettes with cornichons, salmon gravlax with roasted sesame yuzu, and fritto misto served with toum.
From rich and savoury duck to delicate salmon with a citrusy twist, these dishes offer a lovely introduction to the feast ahead. The fritto misto adds a little crispy indulgence to the mix, because honestly, who can resist a good fried bite?
My advice? Pace yourself. The main event hasn’t even arrived yet!
Pasta Lovers, This Is Your Happy Place!

If pasta makes your heart sing, you’re in for a treat.
The live pasta stations showcase creations such as spinach mafaldine, tortelli and beetroot fusilli, paired with homemade sauces that take these dishes to another level.
Fancy something rich and earthy? Go for the truffle mushroom sauce. Prefer something with a taste of the sea? The crustacean sauce offers a seafood-inspired touch. And for those who love a creamy, cheesy finish, pecorino foam adds a lovely touch of indulgence.
With freshly prepared pasta and a selection of sauces, this is the kind of station where you might find yourself making several return trips.
Just remember… calories don’t count when you’re on a culinary adventure. At least, that’s what I’m telling myself!
The Main Event: French Comfort Food with a Gourmet Twist

Of course, no feast is complete without something hearty to round things off.
At the live main-course station, look out for steak haché served with green pepper, alongside poulet à la crème.
These French-inspired dishes bring a touch of classic comfort to the table, combining satisfying flavours with the sort of indulgence you’d expect from a luxurious dining experience.
Whether you’re a fan of a hearty meat dish or prefer the creamy goodness of chicken, there’s plenty to look forward to.
And because everything is part of a larger culinary journey, you can sample different flavours rather than committing to just one dish.
Save Some Room for Dessert… Seriously!
Now comes the part where my sweet tooth starts making all the decisions!
Chef Andy’s French-inspired dessert selection includes riz au lait, a comforting rice pudding, and baba au sirop, a classic syrup-soaked cake that’s perfect for ending a meal on a sweet note.
These traditional French treats offer a lovely contrast to the savoury dishes, rounding off the experience with a little sweetness and a whole lot of indulgence.
Of course, the golden rule at any good feast is simple: always leave room for dessert. You don’t want to regret filling up on pasta when the sweet treats are waiting!
Your Weekend Culinary Escape Awaits

What makes The Ritzy Weekend Feast appealing is the combination of an elegant hotel setting, the culinary expertise of Chef Andy Choy, rotating menus and live cooking stations that bring the dining experience to life.
It’s a lovely option for a weekend dinner with family, a catch-up with friends, a special date night or simply an excuse to treat yourself after a long week.
After all, sometimes the best way to travel is through food. One moment you’re enjoying French-inspired appetisers, the next you’re twirling homemade pasta, and before you know it, you’re finishing with a classic French dessert… all without leaving Kuala Lumpur!
So, if your idea of a perfect weekend involves good food, exciting flavours and a little touch of luxury, this is one dining experience worth checking out.
