It is one of the restaurants with the best views since it is located at the rooftop of the Best Western Premier Ion Delemen, Genting Highlands just a few minutes away from Resorts World Genting and serves up some of the most sumptuous Mediterranean food, tapas and cocktails…
Hugo’s in the Sky is unforgettable with an intimate and cosy ambiance with stunning views of the Titiwangsa mountain range… You can touch the clouds if you are lucky and feel its mistiness as it passes you or admire the sparkling skies and lights on a clear evening… Do not miss out on the sunset and watch the sky turn into a myriad of colours before going dark….
I would recommend bringing warm jacket and sitting outside if possible to enjoy the cool evening breeze… but if you are not one who can stand the cold, sitting inside the restaurant is also fine while you indulge in some carefully selected premium grade beef steak and lamb, grilled seafood as well as a variety of home-made pasta and pizza.
Yours truly was over there with her daughter and we indulged our taste buds in some of the most delicious dishes prepared by Chef Donny
Our dinner began with the Amuse Bouche consisting of Smoked Salmon with Cream Cheese and Grilled Zucchini… Perfect… since I am a huge fan of Smoked Salmon….
This was followed by Alboudigas which was meatballs in a slightly spicy tomato base sauce served with some garlic bread…
We were then served some superb Pan Seared USA Scallop and Escalivada
The Calzone Pizza was perfectly piping hot and tasty…
Then we had some Grass Fed Black Angus Fillet that came with some yummy mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables…….
along with some Australian Beef Short Ribs. served with couscous…
And completed our meal with the Gelatine Free Chocolate Chilli Mousse…. Which was definitely an explosion of taste in the mouth… sweet… and with a little kick of spiciness… heheh….
The dishes were all great and the meat tender, moist, and melt in your mouth and I really enjoyed all the flavours… and yes, I would say I highly recommend it…
Hugo’s in the Sky opens daily from 6pm to 1am, except Monday and Tuesday on every alternate week of each month and caters for up to 150 guests.
