Hotel Review 2020 – The Nomad Serviced Residences, Bangsar, KL

The Nomad Serviced Residences is located in Bangsar, one of Kuala Lumpur’s affluent areas and conveniently close to Bangsar Village (just about 1km away) as well as the various restaurants, bars and nightspots along the famed Jalan Telawi…

As my some friends know I always look forward to exploring the world, or even my own backyard as I am one of those who need a change of environment every now and then.. It is part of my self therapy against depression and such… Yeah.. There is no better therapy then travel and we all occasionally need a change of environment to calm us down, or to get new ideas and inspiration…

The Nomad Serviced Residences comes with well-maintained courtyard and pool area, all which are designed to offer a quiet, peaceful sanctuary… And for the middle class travellers maybe a feeling of staying in the affluent address of Bangsar.. And feel a little ‘have, have’…

My best friends and I checked in easily after the necessary MySejahtera log in and temperature check at the lobby reception and was handed our key cards…

We were at awe at our beautiful 2 Bedroom Suite…. Spreading over a generous 820 sqft, the charming apartment came with 2 spacious bedrooms…

The first bedroom came with a king-sized bed & en-suite bathroom and the other bedroom came with 2 single beds & guest bathroom…

The very elegant and classy apartment suite came with spacious living area, dining area and a well equipped kitchenette

The Nomad Serviced Residences also provides laundry service and you can even find a self serve DIY Starbucks counter…

Guests can use the outdoor swimming pool (not during CMCO) with children’s section and sun loungers..

There is also a lovely BBQ corner at the side of the generous swimming pool which you can organise a BBQ party with your friends and loved ones…

For those gym bunnies and gym hunks, there is also a pretty good fitness centre at the basement area which you can utilise to your heart’s content…

Overall, I think the suites here are simply perfect for a quiet getaway with your loved ones… Or you can choose to have a birthday or celebration party with your besties and close friends (mind the numbers and the SOP though) either in your apartment suite or at the BBQ area..

For my friends and I, we had a nice little get together to celebrate a friend’s birthday with KFC and soft drinks from Grab…

However, the Nomad Serviced Residences has a strict rule that you cannot make a mess or you can be fined RM1000…. So keep the noise and mess low and tidy up after yourself, since no matter what this is an affluent neighbourhood not a place you can simply do as you please….

Overall, I really love the Nomad Serviced Residences as gives me a glimpse and an exclusive feel of how the upper class people live, as well as the convenience of being close to the shops at Telawi and Bangsar Village.. I also love how spacious and comfortable the apartment suites are…
