How can anyone resist these traditional heritage food which have been painstakingly prepared such as the masak lemak daging salai (which is one of the best I have tried), sambal tumis udang, ayam goreng berempah, mixed vegetables and so on…

You can start breaking of your fast with roti jala which comes with delicious chicken and potato curry, pecal, kerabu mangga, keropok, an assortment of sambal and salads

Visit the stalls serving hot dishes from Zai Sri Gemilang such as the Majestic Roast Lamb, which has been well marinated and comes served with colourful vegetables as well as mashed potatoes… this is already a perfect meal on it’s own…

Am also loving the spaghetti aglio olio which was flavourful and tasty…

The stir fried koay teow comes served with pickled chilli or chilli in soya sauce and it is one of my favorites too

Am also loving the sup soto which comes with some rice cake, bergedil (potato beef meat ball), beansprouts and delicious soup…

Who can resist the childhood favorite apam balik which is made fresh before you… Zai Sri Gemilang’s version comes with nestum and corn

Zai Sri Gemilang’s Murtabak is also really satisfactory with the pickled onions accompaniment….so is the Roti John…

End your meal with something sweet from the middle of the auditorium, which happens to be the dessert table serving up the best traditional kuih you can find from onde -onde, sago gula melaka, kuih pandan bakar, kuih lapis, spicy fried popiah, curry puff, kuih pandan bakar etc…

Zai Sri Gemilang is owned by Datin Zai , a dynamic woman who has run her food empire more than 20 years… She owns 2 restaurants in Shah Alam while also offering catering for all kind of events and weddings….

Personally, I would give this buffet ramadan 4.5 stars because I seriously love the food and the environment is pretty comfortable, spaced out and best of all , affordable for families and such…
