Hotel Review 2022 – Geo Resort & Hotel, Genting Highlands

It has been a long time since I got the opportunity to stay overnight at a highland.. Thanks to Marcus Osmand for the recommendation, recently, yours truly was given the opportunity to visit the lovely Geo Resort & Hotel which is conveniently located at Genting Permai….

Geo Resort & Hotel is a charming and beautiful hotel with 252 spacious hotel rooms featuring spectacular views of the Banjaran Titiwangsa and Resorts World Genting in the distance on a clear day…

Checking in was a breeze and we were handed our keycards…

My daughter and I were thrilled as we opened the door to our spacious Premier suite that came furnished with a super king-size bed that is very comfortable, and plush plus sized pillows / ample pillows…

There is also a generous seating area with sofa, en suite bathroom with oversize bathtub that can fit a family of four, …

…and the balcony where you can enjoy the view of the highlands and other buildings… and yeah a magnificent highland sunrise too if you are an early riser…

Geo Resort & Hotel has two dining options which are the Cabana Restaurant, the hotel’s all day dining restaurant, which celebrates local and international culinary classics by the poolside and Café dé Geo, an outdoor café that allows you to enjoy your coffee, tea, drinks and light snacks whilst overlooking the neighbourhood with breezy cool atmosphere…

A pretty good breakfast spread awaits you at the Cabana Restaurant in the morning and you really shouldnt miss out on their Nasi Lemak or Roti Canai Sarang Burung…

The hotel comes with an average size dipping pool and a kids pool too…

… there is also a pretty generous fitness centre with an impressive number of machines to satisfy any gymbunny or those who enjoy a good workout in the fitness centre…

Geo Resort & Hotel is located in a very convenient place where there are many food, grocery shops and even a petrol kiosk and starbucks all within walking distance… and the weather is just pleasant without it being too humid or too cold

You can easily drive to the Genting Premium Outlets in like 5 minutes or get a Grab there or from there for less then RM10… and of course, Chin Swee Temple and Resorts World Genting is approximately 10 to 15 minutes away…

Having had the opportunity to stay in many hotels, I would say I had a pretty comfortable and good stay at the Geo Resort & Hotel which I won’t mind repeating anytime…
