After running around in neighbouring countries, I finally wanted and needed to feel like I needed a good staycation to unwind and rest, so I checked myself into a room at Grand Millennium Hotel Kuala Lumpur for a brief, one-night staycation…..

I am no stranger to Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur which is one of the most convenient hotels in Kuala Lumpur, smacked right in the heart of Jalan Bukit Bintang and I never fail to be at awe whenever I walked through the entrance…

Although the pale creamy/white exterior does not quite stand out against its surrounding buildings, walking into the lobby feels like you are stepping foot into a lavish hotel (which it is), with stylish marble, that opulent not-to-be- missed chandelier and that grand staircase that goes up to The Mill Cafe or Lai Ching Yuen

This five star hotel is situated on the right side of Bintang Walk and allows guests the opportunity to experience Kuala Lumpur’s premier shopping destinations – Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Starhill Gallery, Fahrenheit, Lot 10 and Sungei Wang, all which are just walking distance from this Kuala Lumpur hotel.

There is not many other prime shopping address to stay in Kuala Lumpur, other at the Grand Millennium….

My room was the Grand Deluxe King room located on the 17th floor , so I was given the golden opportunity to check in at the Club Lounge on the 18th floor….
 

My 40 Sqm home for the night was really spacious and offered all the space anyone can possibly need for a comfy stay, complete with breathtaking scenic views of the Bukit Bintang….

My gorgeously appointed room came with complimentary Wi-Fi and a flat-screen LCD television, sofa, a working desk as well as access to the Club Lounge serving snacks and drinks throughout the day. Another great perk is the complimentary pressing/laundry service, which guests are entitled to up to three garments per day.

The beautiful marble bathroom came with a separate shower and separate bathtub for those who enjoys nice comforting soaks

For those who like to bask in the sun, enjoy a nice dip in the pool or work those abs, not to worry as Grand Millennium has a sizable pool and a generously sized fitness centre too….

The Club Lounge is spacious and Bryan was just so attentive and helpful during my stay, making me mocktails and even helping me with some photos and my work…

The view here at the Club Lounge is certainly lovely, overlooking both the KL Tower and Petronas Twin Tower from the outdoor patio, and you can have a simple and private breakfast here or at The Mill for a more generous buffet breakfast spread…

 

Getting around within the city is also convenient with the MRT Bukit Bintang station situated 60m from the hotel.
