Food Review 2023- Ferria, the Westin Kuala Lumpur

I memang nak bawa my “kembar” or “twin” for a treat as well as a sort of early birthday celebration treat as we shared the same birthday and well, since I dapat tahu Ferria baru sahaja buka di jalan bukit bintang Kuala Lumpur apa lagi… it was just the perfect place!!! With the theme and encouraging us to take a walk on the wild side dengan ambience yang elegan tapi bertemakan rainforest atau hutan yang cantik, memang itu pilihan tepat!!!

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the truly classy wildlife ambience of the restaurant… The lighting was just right, the décor was tasteful dengan undur -unsur surprise (bila ternampak ular atau lipan atau labah labah), and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and wonder…

Cantik betul dekorasi di restoran ini.. ada lampu yang mengikut tema haiwan atau hutan hujan dan ada juga safari…dan ruang atas restoran Ferria ini memang penuh dengan daun daun dan pokok pokok memberikan suasana kota dining di hutan tropika atau safari…

Kat Ferria ini boleh pilih nak duduk al fresco kat open area kat luar atau kat dalam ataupun berhadapan open kitchen …

Menu makanan yang di tawarkan memang impressive, offering a range of innovative and expertly crafted dishes that showcased the chef’s skill and creativity.

We had some of the Grilled Smoked Corn prepared from Pearl Corn Kernel and Chicken Lard… and it was really sedappppp……

My friend enjoyed the Watermelon Poppers which had a little citrusy jam on top… it sure was sweet and so refreshing….

Grilled Lamb and Toum Garlic Spread was really melt-in-your-mouth lembut and flavourful….

We also got to enjoy the Untamed Seared Tuna Salad made from Japanese Tuna Loin, Fresh Greens and drizzled with Sesame Soy Dressing

Each of the dishes were beautifully presented, and taste- sedap betul !!!! Memang sah setiap bahan / ingredient telah di pilih dengan baik dan freshly cooked or prepared in front of your eyes…

For mains, we indulged in the XL Freshwater Prawn Roll – Giant Freshwater Prawn meat cooked and stuffed inside some fluffy Homemade Milk Brioche and served with some Crispy French Beans…..

The Amazon Chicken was interestingly made with Pineapple Enzyme Boneless Chicken Thigh with Blue Cheese and Capers sauce

One standout dish was the Tarzan Arrabiata with Tiger Prawns, Soft Shell Crabs and Chilean Mussel, which was simply divine. The seafood were cooked to perfection, while the arrabiata sauce was just perfect to complement the sweetness of the seafood and the spaghetti

The Creamy Carbonara prepared with Beef Pastrami and Pecorino Romano was sedap also

My friend suka dengan the Wild-Spiced Lamb Woodfire Oven Pizza with Grilled Lamb and Toum Garlic Spread….

Kalau you on diet dan nak sesuatu yang ringan ringan sahaja boleh sahaja order light snacks seperti Triple Cooked Hand Cut Fries yang ditabur dengan Flaky Sea Salt yang dihidangkan dengan Wasabi Mayo atau Zucchini Fries dengan sos Wasabi Mayo….

The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Kawan saya dan saya dapat menikmati Sparkling Iced Tea dari Copenhagen, Denmark… ala ala champagne halal tapi di buat dengan teh!!! Tapi bagi saya rasa macam Kombucha sikit…..

Staff memang memberi perhatian sepenuhnya dan sentiasa on hand untuk memberi recommendations dan untuk memastikan segalanya mengikut kehendak atau selera kami…

End your dinner with the Wild Expedition Tiramisu generously made with Mascarpone, Coffee, Lemon Zest and dusted with Cocoa Powder… or if you want something unique, do try the Grilled Crystal Pineapple served with Coconut Ice Cream on a bed of Vanilla Butter Crumble….

Overall, my friend and I had a truly memorable dining experience at this beautiful rainforest themed fine dining restaurant, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional culinary experience in a beautiful elegant and wild setting….
