Every one’s favourite Festival of Fear – Sunway Lagoon Nights Of Fright (NOF9) is back and will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7.30 pm to 11.30 pm from 29th September till 31st October 2023.

Nights Of Fright: Festival Of Fear is Malaysia’s one-stop destination for thrill-seekers and horrorphiles to gather every Halloween season to experience the scariest and spookiest event with the most haunted attractions in Asia within the walls of a single theme park.

For this year, Nights Of Fright 9 has created and put together some of the most immersive Halloween experience by transporting you into a nightmarish world where your irrational fears are intensified and the line between reality and nightmare is blurred…

Nights Of Fright 9 covers eight themed haunted houses, 11 thrilling rides, two scare zones, two show stages and their new and bigger Scarytales Theater.

1.TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE – OUT. BACK. ATTACK!
THE ICONIC HORROR CLASSIC WITH A TWIST!
The secret sheds out back of the Texas house where this all happened has been found… This was Leatherface’s lair – filled with a collection of scalps and victims! It is at the back of the park – it is not for the faint of heart. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

2.ANIMALIUM
After the Harvest, a toxic and unforgiving wasteland was left at the end of the world. The humans that remained have been morphed into ‘humanimal’ form. The last harvest was completely destroyed and these strange characters have made their new home with what remains.

3.THE LEGEND OF SWEENEY TODD
Delve into the infamous barber shop, Sweeney Todd’s vengeful blade and Mrs. Lovett’s mouth-watering meat pies await you. Can you stomach the truth behind the devilish delicacies? Wander through labyrinthine catacombs, whose tortured souls wander these cursed halls, forever seeking revenge.

4.MURDER AT MADAME ZHU’S
Chinatown chaos at Madame Zhu’s Noodle House in Hong Kong – This is a very private and exclusive restaurant, with private dining rooms throughout. There is a crazy chef on the loose, butchering customers in every scene – it’s a horrific scenario!

Pssst… the Scarytales Theater is presenting the story of what could or might have happened to Jim Thompson , Thailand’s silk king… but get in line fast cos the queue is horrendously long!!!!

So if you ask me, you really need and must visit the Scarytales Theater, The Legend of Sweeney Todd, Murder at Madame Zhu’s and Texas Chain Saw Massacre!!!

Public favorites from past years such HAMMER-ICONS OF HORROR and THE ASYLUM are also making a comeback in their line-up of spine-tingling horror nights. The infamous haunted Lost City Of Gold Scream Coaster, Apache Pots and other thrilling rides will also be available during the horrorfest.
